  1. Two criminally under-rated fighters but it has to be Mayweather. Yes Spinks beat Holmes twice and this is a better win than any on Floyds resume. But Floyd has beating some world class fighters and his resume really is very good. Don't think he'll get the credit for years to come but with 3 or 4 fights and still undefeated. Guy is top 10 welterweight def

Dude do you want a prize or something?

I asked if you had a link i didnt said it didnt happened.

What do you want me to say?

This wasnt even about Oscar it was about Pac and Floyd.

Yes but you're acting like Pac only did it because Floyd cheated weight, which is false, he started doing it prior to that and because he was worried about being cheated so he wanted to make sure he wasn't.

Same with Floyd. Both were weary :hey

The Floyd clause is not the same as that Oscar clause, the Floyd clause was to make sure he made weight while the Oscar one was a rehidration clause to prevent Oscar from gaining more than a certain amount of weight in the 24 between the weigh in and the fight.
Anyway i think Floyd is a ***** for not taking the Pac fight while you think Pac ducked him, its clear that neither one of us will change our opinion so theres no point on continuing beating a dead horse and arguing ourselves silly over a subject that has nothing to do with the thread topic.

How are you ok with Pac trying to handicap fighters but not Floyd asking for a simple blood test to prove he won't be cheated as well?

    That's what I don't understand.

Spinks was in over a bit of a beastly division.

Look no further than the Oscar and Mayweather negotiations.

So you're saying if Floyd turned down the overweight penalties, and then Pac said no to the fight you'd honestly say that it was Pac who was the one ducking?

The overweight clause was a meaningless BS clause, Floyd would never turn that down cause he knew he wouldnt have any problem making the 147 weight but if that were the only road block preventing the fight from happening then i would have to blame the camp who came up with it in that case i would blame the Pac camp.

Fair enough. But who would have thought Pac would turn down a drug test for like 50 million dollars? If he was clean he should have known he would never fail testing like Floyd wouldn't fail making weight.

True but even if Pac had accepted to take the test i am still not sure that the fight would happen looking at whats happening now where it seems that tests arent the issue anymore and now its about money, it seems that Floyd is always moving the goal post. Anyway we were the one ones that ended up getting screwed in all of this cause we didnt get to see the two best fighters of this generation fighting each other when both were at the top of the sport and at the top of their games.

Holmes was past prime but still great then. And he didn't "destroy" Holmes, Tyson did. That said he was the best Lt Hvy(yes Jones included) of recent decades and no problem with having him over Floyd. Was more gutsy and I guess had better wins. Floyd very overrated and its a shame people get shrouded in May/Pac talk that they miss out on Napoles or Gavilan or Monzon for instance.

Why should Spinks get criticized for facing Tyson? Tyson was a man possessed that night and Spinks had the courage enough to face a prime Mike ready to knock heads off. Not something most people would do.
