When did Cotto hurt Floyd? You mean a bloody nose. LMFAO. That's what hurt means in boxing now? Shane hurt Floyd but Cotto hurting Floyd, that's a stretch of the imagination.

What is Martinez' excuse not to fight Ward?

No, the Cotto who refused a rematch and lost widely.

Cotto did not say no, He said the fight needs to be at his weight. The same courtesy that he gave Pac, which should have been no problem considering how widely/badly/easily Pac won.

He has long been the best fighter on the planet.

He was almost everyone's #1 entering Pac/JMM IV, so I don't know what kind of **** you're talking.

If winning over 40 fights without a loss were so easy, more fighters would be 41-0...Nuff said

One reason may be that when they try a big price has to be paid. I feel like cotto and de la Hoya gave that a shot and all dithed it later. I'd have to watch them again to be sure but that's my initial thought.

    1. Cherry picker (since 06 he has been known as one)
    2. Part time fighter/retirements
    3. Didnt face pacquiao from December 2008-November 2011
    A. Missed out on record one fight earnings (history making)
    B. hid behind steroid accusation (scared)
    4. His only fight in a span of 2 years he sucker punches his opponent that was just beginning to catch him.

These are just facts. No opinion here. My opinion is that Floyd is the greatest talent of this generation in the ring. Unfortunately his mind is something else. What can you expect he is Rogers nephew.

Nothing he does the rest of his career will change these FACTS.

He should have faced Pacman I agree. But at this point fighting him now is not the same. The sucker punch thing I do not agree with. Ortiz still had his hands down when the fight was resumed. Floyd's resume is ok to be honest. Not an ATG but it is good.
