What would you say are Floyd's 10 best wins? Chico definitely tops the list, but things get a bit hazy after that. I don't think he's got a genuinely great win with Coralles aside, but he's got loads of really nice ones. All things (quality of opponent at the time of the fight, performance, any special circumstances such as fighting a naturally bigger guy/really early in his career/really late, etc) considered, I'd have a rough draft like this:

    1. Corrales
    2. De La Hoya
    3. Castillo II
    4. Hatton
    5. Cotto
    6. Genaro
    7. Marquez
    8. Mosley
    9. Castillo I
    10. Baldomir/Judah

I had Castillo taking their first fight, but it was damn close and giving it to Floyd can be perfectly justified, so I'll respect the official decision and leave it in there. I like Castillo and De La Hoya as being his two best opponents.

I tend to stop contemplating on an order after the top five or six, but I really like that draft myself. I do like the Mosley win - albeit certainly not #1 - but that's likely influenced by all the absolute nonsense surrounding Floyd being "scared of him" when he announced his come back around '09 and would probably have it above JMM who looked very out of place. Floyd beat Marquez predominantly on skill, but at the least Mosley was still dangerous and showed it.

That Mosley very likely beats that Marquez at Welter, so yeah, probably switch them about.

People talking stupid **** before a fight shouldn't really enhance the win's value. :deal

He could still pull the trigger though, so it'll stand. :bbb

One at a time and all jittery-like, sure...

I think Shane got mentally wrecked a bit by Forrest. Weird seeing that so (relatively) early in a career, especially with a guy like Mosley, but he just never looked quite the same after that first loss. Dude was a dazzling combination puncher at his best but he seemed to almost entirely revert to 'one bomb at a time' kind of slugger post-Vernon.

So you agree with this man? Guy reminded me of bladerunner (the one who registered in 2004)

 He's not too far off on some of those, but obviously he's an overly-critical and negative asshat.

Wasn't there a Bladerunner and a Bladegunner recently? It was weird.

Mosley had lost 1 fight in 6 years, and that was a close fight to Cotto that some feel he won. Regardless, Mayorga was KTFO, even if he beat the count, the win was still Mosley's on the cards.

Ranking Marquez and Hatton as better wins than Mosley is something I can't fathom, C.

Young Terror, Diamond Eye, and Bladerunner were the same guys.

    Like Felixtrinidad, Lennox23, Skittlez :smoke

No way is Diamond Eye the same guy as Bladerunner/Young Terror. The latter guy had a very, very impressive knowledge base of the sport when he wasn't distracted ripping on Lil Floyd. That's all ROACH/Diamond Eye does.

It's the same guy. They both stalked me via PM

blade had knowledge but he lost that bet and was banned so he created all these troll alts after Floyd beat mosley which he said he wouldn't do.

Beating that version of Mayorga is hardly worth much. Struggling with him is a pretty bad sign, too. Shane was clearly on the decline and had been for years. I remember RING magazine articles and plenty of fans in general calling for his retirement after the first Vargas fight way back in '06. He did a great thing against Margarito, but it fooled people into thinking he was suddenly elite again (I picked him to win, btw...one of my prouder boxing-related moments :yep)

It's a nice win, but not much more than that. Better than the Marquez one, I'll admit to that now, but Hatton was a higher quality opponent at the respective times Mayweather faced them. He jumped up a division, fair enough, but Ricky was a genuine P4P top 10 and deserved that status at the time, unlike Mosley. I honestly don't think too much of that version of Shane. Still good, obviously still a world class guy, but nothing special by that point.

not close to even. It is an insult to Pacman to think that Mayweather's handpicking of diminished fighters and fighters big at the moment match Manny who fought real fighters when they were good.

Blade is still around from time-to-time. ROACH makes threads challenging you to suck his dick if Floyd doesn't fight Canelo in September. He's got problems.
