But your acting like all the PPV #s are in support of Floyd, thats where your ****ing up..

The person who gets the biggest purse is not always the draw, sometimes its just the person who is in that position, the person who generates the most revenue, isnt tickets to the fight itself part of revenue? think about it man PPV numbers at 50 bux each sure its nice, but when the other guy is selling 2000 dollar ring side tickets that too should be considered... basicly one ring side ticket is like 40 PPV hook ups..:deal

:patsch Like I said what does ticket sales have to do with PPV buys? You can keep spewing this all you want to but you know damn well it doesnt have a damn thing to do with what was being discussed...If thats the case why didnt you bring this up yesterday when we had this debate...you aint about to steer this discussion into a different direction...If you want to get techincal with...Pacman\Cotto hasnt sold out yet so whats your point of even bringing up ticket sales?

PPV revenue still greatly outperforms gate revenue. The revenue for the DLH-Pac gate ws 17mill. But the fight sold 1.25 million PPV's generating over 50million in revenue.

DLH mayweather had al ive gate of 19million, but the fight generated 120million in PPV revenue.

Like i said, PPV revenue generates substantailly more money than gate revenue.

Here is a direct answer, you all say he is the draw, and the draw doesnt only sell PPV buys they also sell tickets, the question is why do you tend to avoid this subject? why dont you want to talk about ticket sales?:think

The answer is simple, it crushes your arguement and you know it, this is why you avoid it...:deal

Nobody is saying it doesnt bring in more money, but honestly what do you think the PPV split was between DLH and Mayweather? 50/50? 60/40 for Oscar? where do you think that split is at?

And again why cant you guys own up to the fact that ticket sales to the event also generate alot of money, and to be honest probably more money, when you do the math.
Think about it you have the cost of the ticket, food and drinks at the fight, Hotel expenses travel expenses, ticket sales generate alot of money to the city and venue the fight is being held at.

Again being a draw attraction means you also put asses in the seats not just on the sofa

I talking about being a financial draw. Thats what determines purses. The guy who financially draws the most money is the draw. And Floyd is a draw when it comes to seats as well. Why do you think so many Brits made the trip to vegas to see Hatton get his ass whooped? Because he ws fighting the p4p champ in Mayweather. They wanted to see thier guy face a huge name. You think they would have showed the same support if he were fighting someone like Diaz? Nope.

The fighters don't get money from the hotels and airlines etc. You got the gate, the site fee and the PPV revenue. Even if you give the guy selling the tickets credit for the site fee, the PPV revenue far, far outwieghs the income from people that go to the fight.

I know they dont get money from Hotels and such, I am pointing out that the fighter that does sell a ticket generates more money for the city and venue that the fight is taking place in.....

again who sells more tickets to their fights, Floyd or Manny?
