But The Maravilla can cut down to a weight on which Floyd has already fought......

He was A Hall of fame fighter and Pound for Pound Number 1 and Multiple world champion when he was at 130 lbs. They said he was too small for 130.

For that guy to go up and to even be competetive against the fighters he fought, let alone to destroy them the way he did, was one of the greatest win streaks in history!

Even his loses. The Bradley fight, everyone new he won. So its only really Marquez that keeps beating him. But that don't mean he hyped. Marquez just knows how to beat Manny.

I believe Hearn beats Leonard 7 times out of 10, that don't mean Leonard is hyped.

I think the answer to this is yes and no at the same time Pacquaio is great no doubt for his weight jumping ability if for nothing else but when you dive deeper and see that pretty much every single notable win was against an opponent coming off a loss it get's less and less impressive outside of Barerra I and Marquez who Pacquiao never legitimately defeated every notable opponent had been recently destroyed from Morralas to Mosley

He obviously wasn't all hype to beat Sasakul at flyweight.
Move up and beat all of the title holders i.e Julio, Lehwaba etc.
And then, he beat Barrera twice..hardly all hype there.
I also have him beating Marquez once and drawing another time, with the other fight being neck-and-neck close.
He moves up to fight Hatton..a future hall of famer. This fight was actually a 50:50 fight.
'Cotto is damaged goods' - hardly, still a future hall of famer and still went on to perform well against Mayweather.

    Pacquiao is not all hype.
Mayweather is in a certain elite tier. Marquez, Barrera and Morales are all in the same tier. Manny is on the higher level of the Marquez, Barrera, Morales tier.

    That's hardly a 'hyped' fighter.

A stupid ***** statement, that people say without doing there own research.

I'll do it for you going backwards:
Marquez - COming of 5 wins out of 6. (the one loss being against manny that most thought he won
    Bradley - Undefeated
    Marquez - 3 Wins
    Mosley - A Draw
    Margo - 1 win
    Clottey - A close Loss
    Cotto - 2 Wins
    Hatton - 2 wins
De La Hoya - 1 Win
    Diaz - undefeated in 9

I could keep going, but as you can see, He has fought one fight of a fighter coming off a loss - And that was a split decision loss that many thought he won. And that fight was only made because the Floyd fight fell through, and he was the highest ranked available opponent at the time.

PAC was never that good. Juiced up swarmer at his best. No chin. Plus he is starting to walk on his heels.

After the comic genius of Bitter Old Man,there's been an absolute tsunami of dreadful bull**** mate.

I'm a big fan of Floyd but to suggest Pacquaio was a hype job is actually about right for the recent theme of the General.

MAB is my alltime #2 and freely admits that he just couldn't work out how to deal with Pacquaio.
Only one man in recent years has a genuine antidote for him(and I deliberately exclude Timmy,as he didn't dominate a shot Manny) and he's one of the most unique and intelligent fighters of the modern era.

I remember when Morales beat Pacquaio. At the time it seemed like one of the best displays of angles and punching accuracy I had seen in many a year, and I admit that I wanted Erik to win badly, but I watched it last year and it was nothing like the dominant display I remembered, albeit still a superb win.

I make no secret of my allegiance to Floyd, but Manny is a class act and has been brilliant for the game.
He kept the sport alive whilst Floyd took his sabbatical.

Pacquiao had his time. Now it's over. I don't think he was all hype, but we also shouldn't lose sight of the fact that it has been awhile since he's looked truly impressive.

I'd like to think you're trolling, but might I suggest a bit more subtlety as humour done in a "baseball bat over the head style" can be a bit hit and miss(boom boom!)

If you're not,and you're serious, given the reaction of the vast majority,I'd like to ask....
