Ay Marnoff, i dont ever think I've seen someone get destroyed this bad logically, as Zook has been in this thread. His attempts at arguing for Pac are seriously quite pathetic.

No Im not, how so? I dont live in the world of lies you all live in, you all seem to think that a draw means PPV numbers alone.

whats laughable about all of you is you point to the numbers and suggest that Oscar, Hatton and Marquezs fan base had nothing to do with it.

Your all liars just like Floyd himself, who doesnt duck or dodge nobody, who takes on all the best available blah blah bliggidy blah go eat some fried chicken and a bean pie ***** I am done trying to school you fourth grade drop outs.:hi:

    1. No.

    2. It's known that British fans are loyal to a fault. I won't go on about the subject though since you'll admit you can't explain it. Well, I will just say this. The difference is who Hatton was fighting. With Floyd it was against a bigger financial draw.

Seriously are you this ******ed? you think someone destroyed me? with what lies? cus thats all you have all posted, you have excuses why Floyd dont sell seats, and you all turn around and claim he is the sole reason there is 1million buys, as if the other fighters fan base had nothing to do with it.

STFU seriously, November 14th all the dust will settle and you will see who the draw is...:hi:

You don't quite get it. Oscar, Hatton, and Marquez, OF COURSE had something to do with the numbers. The point is that the numbers were bigger with Floyd than Pacquiao against common opponents.

Who is lying? The numbers are there for you to review.

No one is claiming Floyd is the sole reason for a million buys. He is the reason that there were more buys with him rather than Pacquiao, however. You're embarrassing.

Edit: Furthermore, the Cotto fight won't necessarily prove anything. It's not a common opponent.

Okay but you know what, you dont need common opponents to see who the attraction is, you need numbers.

November 14th the numbers will prove who is the draw today...

You HAVE the numbers right in front of you, yet you can't read them. Financial illiteracy, they say, is one of the deeprooted reasons for this recession. Speaking with you, I can see why. You don't understand how to read numbers.

Look, there was a study and a poll conducted here, it clearly showed that the Latinos were in the Majority by 52% as to where african americans were at about 27% most of whom ordered where from the south west region.

indicating that Marquez drew in those numbers.

Now a draw sells weather its a common opponent or not, a draw sells, Floyd did one million with Marquez great... Marquez was #2 P4P great.

Manny is #1 P4P going against a top fighter in the welter weight divison #2 rated.

they dont have to be common opponents its a similar match up as was the Floyd fight with Marquez.

The numbers here vs Floyds recent numbers are going to tell the story....

and becuase you know this is going to out do that fight, you want to back pedal and put spin on it... I call bull****, if Floyd is truely the bigger draw then no way in hell should any fight out do him in terms of PPV numbers....

Alright, your argument is instantly refuted by this question: Why didn't Marquez draw those numbers when fighting Pacquiao, if you're suggesting he was largely the draw against Floyd?

Because Marquez was not known by the occasional fight fan, he was mostly known by the hard core fans....

Same with Manny, who hadnt fought hatton at the time nor Delahoya, both of those guys had huge followings and when you fight Oscar people notice.

Occassional fans who tune in to Big PPV events dont even really know the names Manny did beat, such as Barrera and Morales.... thats why those numbers were like that..

Floyd since day one has been on HBO, has been promoted similar to the way Oscar was when he came up, they had help in getting their names out there Marquez and Manny did not.....

Marquez drew those numbers IMO becuase of mexican independance day, and because the Mexican fight fans hate Floyds style of fighting, so they tuned in, in hopes to see a true Mexican boxing Icon pull off the biggest win in the histroy of recent sports... Thats why.....

Yet you admit you have no answer regarding the Hatton fight when the obvious answer stares you in the face. Sure.
