I think the fight with PAC and Floyd will be made. There is too much money in the fight. Right now PAC is #1 P4P and Floyd is right now#1 PPV King. After the fight with Cotto.....should PAC win we'll see this fght with Floyd and Manny take on a whole new demension. Depending on how Manny's PPV numbers do the Floyd fight will be inevitable. BUt Cotto vs PAC can't do more than JMM vs FLoyd....otherwise FLoyd's ego won't let him take the smaller peice of the pot to get the fight done. BUt if Cotto vs PAC does under a $mill I think PAC wouldn't have that much of a problem taking a smaller peice of the pie. Although I could be wrong. Both men have big ego's but with Roach on PAC's side he won't let Floyd try to take advantage of him at the negotiation table.

 

I agree with you 100%. When there is this much money invlovled fights get made. Like I said earlier in the thread, just look at Lewis vs Tyson. THere was issues with both guys belonging to rival networks but there was enough money to go around for HBO and showtime to work together and both get paid.

Look at DLH and Vargas. DLH never wanted to fight Vargas because he didn't want to reward his **** talking by giving him a big payday but once Vargas was big enough to make the payday even bigger Oscar got over that **** and got the fight made.

In the end money always talks and no way either one of these guys walks away from that kind of payday.

All that being said, people need to stop acting like pacquiao beating Cotto is a given. He could spoil the party.

Exactly! PAC can very well loose this fight and throw everything off! I'm favoring PAC but am not dumb. Cotto is bigger, stronger and very cool and composed in the ring. He doesn't rattle easily so PAC is gonna have to stick to a very strick game plan. Otherwise we could see cotto putting PAC to sleep. But you are right...if TYSON VS LL got made there is not reason why this fight won't. IT's probably the biggestfight since Leonard vs Duran 1.
