its not really embrassing, canelo is a huge dude. if that would it take to get the fight done then the whole world would want it. its better then nothing!

Hes only did it one time and that was to make the Marquez fight. right now he doesnt want to do it but if was the only way to get the fight, he"ll come around.

This further shows IMO Floyd is scared of Canelo... And this is coming from a Floyd fan and gave him a pass for Manny...When he said Canelo did not look that great with Trout,that was a sign..

If he did NOT look great,take the fight and have his biggest payday of his career if you think it is easy work...He says things like "they keep finding a guy to say they can beat Floyd" well that is because he is by most as THE best..

Fight these guys if that is the case,and there will be no question,he said he fought Marquez because he called him out,well we know Canelo wants it.

 

That's the key. Put yourself in May's shoes. Let's think the way May would. Will Canelo bring more loot? Sure, but does May really need to take that fight? I don't think so, unless he wants to enhance his legacy a bit. But how much would it enhance it? I feel that if May beats Canelo, the majority would say. he beat a Green fighter. Most people agree Canelo is not ready. So why would this benefit May? Canelo is probably the biggest threat to him, even at 22 but May makes 30 mill per fight guaranteed, aside from the PPV. He has a Showtime deal that's worth more than 200 million. Why not just take the ****ing money and stay at 147 and fight Glass Jaw Khan, D Garcia, etc etc?? From a business standpoint, it makes more sense for May. Us as boxing fans, we;re ****ed.

I understand where u getting at. at this point I think Showtime will have a little say so on who he fights. he cant go in there and say i want to fight Devon on PPV without them looking at me like "are u kidding me"

Yes the haters will say he beat a green fighter but most boxing fans know this is the greatest challange he has at the moment. and without the Pac fight this is the only one people really want to see. in his mind hes gonna make the loot anyways but there will be alot of people talking around his back. He's dealt with it before because pacquaio turned down a test and most fans give hi the pass (some still dont) but a fight like this he wont get a huge pass because theres no problem with a drug test.

it might not happen this fall ( I always thought next May, beating Cotto would make Canelo way bigger) but if it never gets made this will hurt him alot more then Pac because theres no problem with testing or Arum.

 

Shometime is not and cannot make Mayweather fight someone 25lbs bigger than him. They can ask and he will say yes or no

 

Im a fan and its not embrassing at all. Canelo comes in 170+ theres nothing embrassing about that at all.

I dont see how it drops the quality of the fight. its not like Mayweather isnt faster, more experienced, more accurate, better defensivley anyways.

 

if floyd keeps showing evidence that he doesnt want the fight, canelo should just make the cotto fight and ko him in 8. the pressure on floyd to fight canelo will be enormous, both from his business associates and the fans.
floyd should just fight him at 154, if he loses, everyone knows its not his best weight, but if he wins, he will silence a lot of critics... including myself.
