I don't want to get into the Pacquiao issues. That's been talked about a million times. Let's just say they BOTH didn't want the fight. My point is that May didn't care. He has said it himself. I don't think this is any different. The pressure will be there but May has the leverage. I doubt May would have signed a contract where he was forced to do things. Highly doubt it.

Mayweather is not going to have a twitter rant for Canelo. **** Mayweather doesnt even run his own twitter account. He is going to make a decision based on what he thinks is best for him not what some boxing fans say

when he was talking to the press after the Robert fight you could tell he his very content with his decisions now. He understand if he fights Canelo people will just make up another fighter he cant beat so he is going to fight for himself not other people

It sounds like you'd condone his decision to not fight Alvarez

Another ***** move by Floyd. He could fight Cotto and Oscar there, but not Canelo. What the ****, Floyd?! You can beat him at 154 too. Typical Mayweather bull****.

If I'm Canelo, I say **** it and fight Cotto.

Typically these negotiations are academic and that's why the catchweight gets agreed on- one guy starts bidding with the lower weight, the other with the higher, and they meet in the middle. That Mayweather's not budging off of 147 shows he's not that serious about the fight or negotiating for it.

Canelo's got other acceptable options he can take in the meantime because he doesn't have the same amount of pressure on him that Floyd does. So, take the Cotto payday and try again for the spring.

Well he hasnt made that decision yet. But if FLoyd decides he doesnt want to fight somebody 25lbs bigger I will condone it.

If Manny decides not to fight Sergio Martinez do you condone that?

If you are Canelo do you stay on that date and fight on Floyd's under card or do you fight on a different date?

That's what I was trying to say. Mayweather nor his camp has given me a reason to think he really wants the fight. I heard FLoyd Sr say " I don't want my son to be in a life or death fight". I heard his uncle say "I'm not sure if May needs to be fighting at 154". May himself said that he has nothing to prove. The problem is that he doesn't have to. He doesn't need the money. He already makes a **** load of loot. Why take a higher risk? Like I said, as boxing fans, we're ****ed since its probably the best fight to make at this point but from May's point of view, does it really make sense?

I dont know but things are bout to get wild.

asking for 147 fight is a ***** move. without Canelo on the undercard, Mayweather fighting anybody else might not do a MIL buy, which is gonna **** off SHowtime

I dont think its some huge deal if the fight doesnt happen people care way too much about this ****. They will both fight other people in fights we will enjoy.
