What makes you guys so sure Canelo can't make weight at 147?

How do you determine a fighter's natural weight, anyway?

What is funny though, a poster mentioned people were OK with Martinez moving down from MW for a Floyd fight, but not ok with Canelo moving down from JMW for a Floyd fight.

If one has very little bodyfat then there ain't much to lose other then to dehydrate a bit.

A lot. Most of these guys are already dangerously dehydrated at their weights so dropping another 7 lbs would be extremely dangerous

Hard. **** when you get to those last few pounds its really hard. If Canelo has a hard time making 154 thens its going to be hard for him to get to 147. If Floyd doesn't want to fight at 154 any more then he needs to just fight the champions in his division. I think they will meet in the middle. Like 151 or something.

He's going to fight him, just not until the Show deal is over. Why take that fight during the Showtime deal when he has limited financial upside?

Canelo should except a 150lbs catch & then come in over the limit. :!:
