What's with all of the "Canelo doesn't want Mayweather?" comments?

The reason he pulled out of fighting on Floyd's card, is because he was angry that Floyd had gone back on his verbal agreement to fight, if both fighters won.

I think Cotto will definitely be next for Canelo.

Because Floyd is the #1 boxer, so he gets the most criticism

It pisses off the Floyd haters/*******s to no end. He is the modern day Sugar Ray Robinson.

Someone who gets crapped on on the daily, but continues to win and pisses off haters.

    Deal with it.

There's just no proof of this. Last time, Mayweather lowballed him on money. This time it just doesn't make a much sense. Save it for next Cinco de Mayo and both guys rake. I think Canelo's proven at this point, between signing to fight Williams and Ortiz and demanding a Trout fight against his team's wishes, that he's not going to back down from any challenges. He knows the best way to keep his Mexican fan base is to be el mas macho.

Floyd has wins against past prime HOF guys like Mosley, DLH and Cotto BUT he also has great wins against very tough opponents before he became a PPV star. Corrales was undefeated and the favourite when he faced Floyd but Floyd toyed with him. Floyd took on prime Castillo and knocked out an undefeated Hatton. Mosley, DLH and Cotto werent way past their primes when they faced Floyd. Mosley was coming off a huge upset win against Margarito, DLH just ran over Mayorga.

Calzaghe beat up teh corpse of RJJ, the fight against Hopkins was a draw imho. The only big win i give Calzaghe was when he schooled the undefeated Mikkel Kessler. That was his biggest win.

Um newsflash pac-mayweather was bigger than mayweather-De la hoya and that never happened. Floyd cares more about protecting his " 0 " than money man. Or else the pac fight would have happened.

Mayweather is already throwing roadblocks. He sees something in canelo that worries him. And remember floyd never concedes or compromises on his demands thats why the pac fight never happened. Canelo-Mayweather wont happen especially after canelo obliterates cotto. That will scare the **** out of floyd.

    Sums it up nicely

Disagree with your last part though - Shane and Jones cancel one another out both were shot to hell, but Hopkins had 5 years of domination left in him while Oscar was two fights removed from retirement

Yeah I train at an amateur boxing gym, just looking at it from a nutrition point of view, do you not think how drained you are depends on whether it's muscle or fat you're burning? And how gradually you do it, it's obviously easier to burn fat and to do it gradually...You clearly don't know **** about anything let alone boxing:rofl

Just like Floyd said Cotto was still a good fighter when we all knew he wasn't? That's why Floyd doesn't want to fight at 154 even though he's the freaking CHAMPION OF THAT DIVISION!

He only went up to cherry pick a faded Cotto, pick up a belt and run back down.

Floyd's game plan is the same as it was for Pacquaio and Cotto and well. Just avoid them and hope someone else beats them. Then you can claim they aren't worth your time. Floyd was hoping like hell Trout would beat Alvarez.

How epic would it be if Canelo signed on for 147 then came in at 150 at the weigh in....then after an hour to lose the weight came in at 154

given the choice between going above or below this mother****er chooses to go below.

why should that move be admired, and is it something that a great one does in full assurance and confidence of his superior faculties and abilities or is it a whiny ***** move by a bean counter playing not to lose.

A mans reach should exceed his grasp or what's a heaven for.
