Oscar may very well be a harder fight than Canelo. I would have put my money on that DLH over current Canelo.

Listen, I understand that boxing is a business. Sometimes the best and most dangerous fighters don't generate the most revenue. From that standpoint, it makes sense to avoid them in favour of an easier opponent who brings in more money. But Canelo at this point is one of the four biggest draws in boxing. If Mayweather is all about money, why *wouldn't* he fight Canelo?

That's what makes it inexcusable. Canelo isn't some niche fighter like Margarito who's only well-known in the innermost boxing circles. Floyd has an opportunity to get both credit AND money by fighting Canelo. There's nobody else in boxing who can do that for him. If you fancy yourself the GOAT, why on Earth would you pass that up...again?

Do i want to see this fight?yes would it make more sense at 154 yes...BUT..Canelo is in no spot at all to call any shots at all period. He needs Floyd,Floyd does not need him at all.Floyds legacy is set and his place in the hall of fame is waiting..Canelo would become an instant hall of famer if he fought and beat Floyd...Canelo called the shots with Lopez,Matthew Hatton and had them MOVE UP TO FIGHT HIM He cant tell floyd to do jack ****,floyd will get his 32 million a fight regardless who he fights. When Floyd wanted Oscar he had to give in to all of his demands in order to get the pay day and the fame..Once again sure the fight makes more sense at 154,but Canelo called Floyd out and if he wants the fight he needs to give in to Floyds demands no matter how stupid they may seem or move on...sorry thats just the fact of the matter

People forget it is Canelo calling out Floyd. Although I do want to see this fight happen at 154, it is not Floyd who should be calling out Canelo. It is the other way round.

People seem to either forget this or ignore it.

Floyd might not need the guy for his legacy, but Canelo is the biggest payday out there for a guy like Floyd.

They'd generate over 1.5m buys, no doubt about it.

Sure, but Showtime/CBS will want to sell some big ppv numbers, they are probably not satisfied with 1m buys, they will want more.

now who can Canelo fight that will give him the payday or legacy beating floyd would? if he wants floyd then it looks like he has no choice but to drop to 147 and take his shot at history
