Alvarez is very slow in the first round. Floyd will have to be particularly careful in the second and third.

Trout's chin is suspect. Average or worst. Vanes got him bad in the amateurs. Floyd at the least has a good chin.

 

I feel Canelo can hurt Mayweather and im a huge Mayweather fan. If if he lands on arms and shoulders there gonna hurt Floyd. He doesnt have the ring IQ of Cotto yet but hes noy yout typical "swing for the fences mexican fighter" he picks his shots and when somebody lays op the ropes (which Mayweather does at least a few times in each fight) then he will throw a 6 piece with at least 2-3 landing.

I think Floyd will be bleeding after this fight and i think its a classic. Canelo's faced will be tore up to. I see a rematch like no other.

 

dude what the heck are you talking about. its not about dessert, or who comes after the another, about best fight possible and not in 2 years, but right now and right now mayweather-canelo is the best fight possible and if mayweather beats canelo, than pacquiao is the second best fight possible and than guys like vanes or diaz/ matthyse winner, so there is a long list of quality opponents for floyd between 147 and 154!!!!!!!

look at Mayweather's career? he doesnt fight anybody that hasnt fought at the weight at least once. now if the Garcia/Lucas winner fights a WW fight afterwards then it might happen.

Guerrero was calling out Mayweather for a while but didnt get the fight till he beat Berto

I still see Floyd taking it pretty wide - in reality that is - on the cards, with Canelo having a few moments a lot of people don't believe he will. Agree with the post overall, though.

 

Bradley had fought at 147 against Abregu and looked terrific. He was one of the best fighters in the world and around the same size as Manny. That was a great opponent for Manny.

 

Maywearher saw how vulnerable Canelo is, and he is going to make him suffer. Canelo has been babied and protected, and is extremely over hyped, much like Chavez jr. Both guys have fought mostly nobodies until last couple fights, and then both have looked very vulnerable. Look for Mayweather to keep punch numbers up and tire Canelo out to make him look bad late in fight. Look for Mexicans to flip out every time Canelo lands a punch and try to argue he deserves the round, haha.

I thought Canelo may give him trouble until I saw the Trout fight, if it was after the Lopez fight I'm sure *******s woulda said Canelo would win
