It's good you said that. That means that you give Floyd 100% credit for his demolition of the man who KO'd Pac and future hall of famer, Juan Manuel Marquez. The man you "would never dare question" did say that it was a "pick em" fight, no? Why do I think that somehow you will find a way to question him now?

Read my post. Manny and Rios agreed on testing WAY before Ariza went to Rio's camp. There, I explained and nullified his entire argument in one sentence. :yep

No one is talking about 2010 here :nono
The post you "agreed" to was specifically talking about 2013. Do you even read what you quote? :rofl
I broke down his entire argument showing it was based on lies in one sentence.

Why would Mayweather have to mention PED testing if official negotiations had not taken place?

Can you imagine Mayweather being asked about fighting Pacquiao right after he beat Marquez? "Yeah, I'll fight that mother****er as long as he agrees to OSDT!!!"
Now that would have been defamation. Thats pointing the finger at someone when there is'nt really cause to do so.
Doing it during a negotiation is a different matter as one has the right to demand and stipulate the conditions in which one would agree to a fight.

Nobody, including the media knew nothing about why the fight was stalling to get signed when it had been reported that just a few minor details needed to be ironed out.

In hindsight, it suprises me that a jerk like Mayweather was professional enough during contract negotiations to hold his tongue and not blurt out that it was Pacquiao's reluctance to agree to PED testing that was holding the fight from being signed.

Mayweather did'nt start going off on Pacquiao and talking about suspiciouns of PED's until Pacquiao was heard to come up with all kinds of ridiculous excuses as to why he did'nt want needles in his arms.
Only then did Mayweather start to voice about Pacquiao and PED's.

Hindsight say's that Mayweather went about handling negotiations with team Pacquiao professionally. No reason to spill to the media anything about additional PED testing, when it could be kept under wraps and both fighters could have went about there business as usual without highlighting and making PED testing to be a big deal in the fight.

I just dont understand Pac's team...first they couldnt do the testing

    then they needed a cut-off

then they could do the complete testing

now they asking other fighters to test

    jeeeeezus:verysad

Just like how mayweather said he would NEVER do catchweights and be the next person to do so right?:rofl

For the record, the reason why Pacquiao requested testing for Rios is because Rios started working with Angel Heredia. Marquez used customized PEDs with Angel Heredia to gain an edge, and you can't blame Pacquiao for requiring testing for ANYONE associated with the known PED pusher Angel. :thumbsup

fine by me..call them both crazy...but the testing thing is worse if you aske me.

And Rios never failed a test....isn't that the argument you guys use? So its basicly an assumption and a preventitive measure just to make sure by Pac....right?

Rios never failed a test but associating with Heredia to train for the Pacquiao fight was the big red flag. Heredia is someone who has built his entire career helping pro athletes dope and hide it. This is his honed skillset as a creator/supplier of customized PEDs that he has made a living off of. Pacquiao, his team, media, other trainers, other professional boxers, UFC fighters, boxing fans all over the world, and others have become suspicious of this Marquez after their last fight (and for good reason). This is why Pacquiao and his team requested stringent testing because Rios associated himself with Heredia. Heredia eventually went another path and decided not to work with Rios.

Heredia is a man that Alex Ariza commends, what does that say of Alex Ariza and the fighters he's worked with???
