I do not really think there is a comparison. Duran got absolutely destroyed from the opening bell. Pacquiao Marquez was very competitive and Manny still holds an advantage over Marquez on the official records.

I think it depends on how Manny recovers from the KO. If he destroys Rios, beats Bradley again and fights Mayweather people will write it off as Manny getting caught with a perfect punch and it as a minor roadbump in his career.

    No.

    The SuperBowl seems legit.

The Floyd vs Canelo fight was obvious that it was FIXED in Floyd's favor, cause Canelo "threw" the fight and was not putting up a fight, but rather letting Floyd get away.

Canelo would miss on purpose and hit Floyd's elbows instead of the head.
    Canelo was bribed.

Canelo won one round at the most and almost won on one of the judges scorecards and had Canelo won the rematch would have been the highest paying bout in history.
In other words, why would they fix it in Floyd's favour? Who would benefit?

The point is we cant know for sure how they would deal with each other. Saying counterpuncher beats Pac easy because JMM is a counterpuncher just doesn't work. As we saw, Bradley can outbox JMM, but Bradley sure didnt outbox Pac. If Pac demolishes Rios like I expect him to, I still see this as Floyds toughest fight, even more so than Martinez.

Nobody has ever closed the show on JMM either. And yes, nobody has ever closed the show on PBF too but PBF hasn't been hurt half the time JMM has. JMM has been hurt many times but he has amazing survival skills. We dont know what PBF's survival skills are like, we dont get a chance to find out.

Pacquiao struggled against Bradley though. Bradley was injured as well in that fight. I hate when people say that Pacquiao looked good in that fight. he looked terrible.

Its the worst I've seen Pac look leading up to the fight, on pads and on fight night, sluggish and no stamina, he still dominated Bradley. And Pac caused that injury to Bradley, his fast lateral movements forced Bradley to try keep up with him twisting his ankle in the process, its no different to making someone swing wildly at you, you make them miss and they dislocate their shoulder.

I don't really believe this alibi by Bradley. But I want to add, Pacquiao did not take Bradley seriously, he did not train hard. Against Floyd, Pacquiao will be motivated. In fact Pacquiao is not training hard in his past 4 fights now. Floyd will be different, with the insults that he throws against Pac, it will motivate Pacquiao.

that argument is ridiculous. He didnt train hard? You're supposed to train hard for every fight. Floyd trains hard FOR every fight. You prepare around the board, because you never know.

I would put money down that he gets outclassed in a Bradley rematch. Severely.

He really didnt though. I rewatched the fight recently. I had him winning, but not every round. He got tagged as well. Didnt look good at all and he never looks good against boxers.

It was a close fight, similar to Canelo-Trout.

One guy landed the harder punches and the other landed MORE.

He looked terrible against Bradley. Absolutely terrible.

That is the sad thing about Pac, he does not train hard as he used to be. Read on articles,Pacquiao abandoned the Plyometrics training he did with Ariza in their last 4 fights. The heated argument with Ariza and Pacquiao regarding their training is also well documented. Pacquiao abandon the training methods he did with Ariza that made him explosive in his wins against Cotto, Hatton, Clottey(throwing thousand punches).

Nah, he looked fresh against JMM in the fourth bout. It's more a mentality thing then anything else.
