Pimp C, I'm sure you'll be brushing off that old American Flag that you got in the closet and that you'll bring it and wave it around as Floyd makes his entrance to the ring.

Do you even have anything remotely patriotic in your belongings?

It's your opinion and nothing more. You realise you're accusing a lot of people of racism simply so you can defend your favourite boxer. Get some perspective for ****'s sake.

People like you have a problem when blacks like myself speak the truth on an issue and throw out we're using the race card despite this country's long history of racism towards blacks. Also how many Vic d hate threads do you see? The Guy has a fight tonight and I don't see any and I'm a Vic d fan.

I am just using a few different examples of how nationalizm plays a part in boxing. furthermore its perfectly ok to cheer for the fighter from your country and it is some ways very patriotic

People like me? Presumably you mean white men. Do you think Floyd Mayweather is a good role model then? Assuming you're black, would you want your children to behave like him? Just to clarify, I'm not suggesting he should be a role model, he can do what he likes, but that doesn't mean people should like what he does.

Pulling out the race card is boring and cheap.

Damn right I'm a patriot and usually always support the American fighter regardless of race. The recent lone exception being dirrell in his fight with froch because I'm a big cobra fan.

good point, but you still go to the local whorehouses and let your wife watch the kids while you get that extra nookie ala Pacman. Cheating on your wife, that's something that's been ingrained in the moral fabric of the Philippines since forever.

human beings in general don't like arrogant pricks, no matter their race. His being black has nothing to do with it.

I believe Americans should be supporting our best fighter. Do we really want someone coming from another country and beating our best fighter from the country with the best boxers? We shouldn't! All American citizens except Filipino-Americans and Mark Wahlberg should be supporting Floyd Mayweather jr.!
