Other asians don't like Pacquiao. The China venue proved that. The Phils is a dot in Asia. Asia is a geographical term encompassing many xenophobic countries. Other Asians could care less about Pacquiao. That's like saying Mayweather is a big star in Canada, Mexico because he's North American.

Yeah De La Hoya was shot just like he was against Mayweather. The fight was not in demand prior to when it happened though and De La Hoya was a massive favourite.

 

That's a terrible comparison. Mayweather fought the biggest fighter in Mexico who has a huge following, and it had a great undercard. Pacquiao fought Rios who no one knows or cares about and it had a **** undercard. Of course the Mayweather PPV sold more.
