Yes, I fully agree that this time he's carefully picking opponents to make easy money and keep the 0. However, no one can say his fights with Alvarez and Cotto were "joke" fights unless you're a pure hater.

I agree with Cotto, but no way with Alvarez.Sure, the media had him hyped to **** and a lot of fans got suckered in when they shouldnt have but to me it was a joke fight and the fight went exactly how i thought.Fighting average and gassing isnt the blueprint to beating Mayweather.Hell,i know it was a couple years back but watch him against that ATG,Matty Hatton, and then gas against Trout.Canelo was tailor made for Floyd, hence the reason he took the fight.Just my opinion.

I knew Mayweather was going to win based on your points exactly and stated them on the site numerous times. Still though, Alvarez was the #1 Junior Middleweight and Mayweather went for him. Many people actually wanted that fight which is why it was easy to hype and sell. Who else was Mayweather going to fight instead?, sure Alvarez doesn't possess the style to trouble Mayweather but who does exactly?. Only one I would have picked over Mayweather based on fighting style is Paul Williams and sadly he's forcefully retired due to injury. There wasn't anyone else out there that would have sold big fighting Mayweather.

    **** you.
I watch his fights because I enjoy his fights and appreciate his skill level.
He happens to be the best.
And if he fights Pac I ould watch that one as well.
I understand that it is a business and that Pac must agree to the money terms.
Floyd is the Big Dog ---- plain and simple.

    pipe dream.

besides holding 4 lineals should be done in 1 calendar year bec 1 of those titles he will either be forced to defend or drop while fighting for his next titles.

next yr, he is set to defend both his 147 and 152 lineals. when do you expect him to fight for 140 and 160?

Nobody is boycotting Mayweather's fights. If they wanted the pacquiao fight that badly they would have done it years ago. I don't think causal fans care about the Pacquaio fight like they did about 4 years ago anyway

floyd called manny and offered him 40 million dollars to fight him, 20 million more than he has ever made in a fight. manny said no, this is the only time in the entire rivaly that we have an official duck. where one fighter challeged the other and was turned down. pac ducked floyd and that got ko'd by someone floyd used as a post retirement tune up. sorry dude your hero is a coward.

    Spot on!

99.9% of people who have Floyd as the GOAT are newbies, plain and simple.

He'll be remembered for what he DIDN'T do, not what he DID, IMO.

If he fights Garcia in May and Martinez in September according to the Ring's policy he will still be able to hold onto his Welter and Jr Middleweight title as his title winning efforts all would have happened within 18 months of each other. :deal

If he wanted to keep all 4 titles he'd have to schedule a fight at Welterweight within a month however.

But winning them in the 1st place will be the biggest thing.
