TS has a point thou, I don't think that fight would have materialized. Don't blame Floyd for it thou, pwill had to keep relevant at an elite level to kind of force this fight

Margarito vs Floyd would have ended badly for margarito. He has no speed or defense, easy pickins for mayweather

Whatever anyone thinks were the reasons the Margarito fight didn't happen - there's no chance whatsoever that Floyd could've lost that fight. None. Zero.

I don't think Williams was the guy to beat him either. A strategy of throwing 100+ punches a round in the general direction of your opponent and hoping something lands, just wouldn't work against someone with as great a defence as Floyd. If he knew how to box tall behind his jab, it could've been a different story though.

I agree that Williams was the fighter Floyd was truly terrified of. I don't believe his vacation was to avoid Cotto or Margarito. It was to avoid Williams. He returned less than a month after Williams moved up to middleweight and never fought in the same division as Williams again.

While I don't think Floyd really ducked Cotto, Margarito, or Tszyu, I do think he ducked fighters other then Williams. Martinez is one of them. He offered to drop down to 154 and fight for peanuts but Floyd wanted no part of it. And even though Pacquiao avoided a fight with Floyd up until very recently (the last excuse being the stadium in the desert thingy) he has been making major concessions ever since, but Floyd refuses to yield. So the final duck list as I have it is Williams, Martinez, and Pacquiao (and possibly Lara should he pursue a fight with Mayweather and be rejected).

Pac never had a chance against Floyd

    GGG would crush Floyd

Thats the fight the fans should demand

If he wants to take Marciano's record, he should have to go through GGG to do it

Instead he'll go through the Amir Khans of the world as he's always done

Seeing as how his lifetime earnings are about $350 million, and given that five years ago he was broke, I'd venture to guess Oscar has him beat by a mile.

Floyd just purchased a G5, perhaps the stupidest investment he could ever make.

FLOYD OWES THE MAN NOTHING AT ALL! The MAN DECIDED ON FEDERAL COURT ACTION AT ARUMS BEHEST. Remember the visionquest statements on his finances, now he comes begging. Floyd has every right to tell him to **** off!

I wonder will this upset Pacquiao. Hopefully it does, then he might leave Arum to make the fight.
