floyd has never stated that he fights for his people but for money. pac has been fighting for his people from the beginning and is genuinely humble. if americans start supporting floyd due to his comments then the american public are as gullible as they say they are.

I'm gonna root for the guy who I can relate to and/or admire the most, as in most sports situations. Doesn't matter if he's from Kazakhstan, Japan, or The Congo.

What has Mayweather done in the past to endeer himself to the American people and fans.....the guy has admitted in the past that he loves to be hated.....so why ask for people to get behind him now??

I know why, it's since his fight with Hatton, he saw what real passionate fans can do.....even when a fighter loses, they stand by their man.....and they did just that 2 years ago for the Hitman in the MGM Grand!! Those fans were also gracious to Mayweather following all the trash talk from Floyd in the build-up to the fight!

He wants support the way Hatton has it when he fights and wherever he fights! Hence all of the comments in recent interviews about wanting to fight in the UK sometime cos he loves the UK fans!!

His arrogance will not gain him many more fans than he already has and especially not against Manny who already has a huge and diverse following.....down to his personality and the fact he's one of the most entertaining fighters ever!

I'm on the fence about the fight result, so before any of you PB lovers say, NO i am not a ******* or pacfag or any of the other homophobic names you've come up with......way to go on that anyways....showing your high IQ's!! :thumbsup
