I doubt James Toney actually said that. I'd like to see a video or a source cited where he said that about Mayweather.

I've read several articles and seen many videos where Toney praises Mayweather and believes no one from 140-154 would have a chance to beat him. He even stated that floyd would beat Bernard at 160 if they met.

All I've ever heard from Toney regarding Floyd is extremely high praise, him referring to Floyd as the P4P # 1 fighter and giving props all the time to a guy who comes from his neck of the woods (Michigan.)

I actually remember Sechback had an interview with him after the Alvarez-mayweather fight where James said Floyd would stop Manny inside of 12 rounds. I'm going to try and find that video to upload.

I don't believe this quote at all, James Toney knows his boxing and I doubt he'd say something like that about FLoyd.

 

I'm always chill I said this for some time now they will fight it's to much money not too, this has happened so many times in boxing SRL vs Hagler, Tyson vs Lewis, JMM vs MAB, Macho man vs Boom Boom and on and on.
