We cant have it both ways, when a fighter gets hit too much we say that he isn't technical enough. But when a boxer doesn't get hit too much we say he's not tough enough. We cant have it both ways. Plus it could be argued that being an elusive fighter with a tight defense and good ring generalship is also a factor that can boost someone's ATG ranking.

i would not like to see that. his one of the greatest fighters of his era and i think he has earnt the right to retire undefeated (and to me the canelo fight showed me that no one at 147 has any chance against may. there are a few names at 154 that stand a slim chance if mayweather starts to really slip and show his age)

 

mayweathers getting old i agree we need some fresh young blood to step up and take the throne. but i dont think everyone is tired of mayweather judging by his PPV numbers against canelo (who was supposed to be a no stamina come forward plodder according to alot of critics (not really critics, just forum members). i think theres always interest in floyd.
