Floyd has guaranteed money right, and there is nothing you haters can do about it! Manny is broke get it, that is why he is begging. He is is been used & abused by arum / koncz, and after suing a man in court, his own trainer is calling his conditioner a cheat? Cowards, do not fight a total off 135 times as a amatuer & pro right?

This is almost hilarious enough that I want to leave it up in standalone form rather than merge it to get buried & forgotten in the Whine Express, but I know some other mod will just come along to delete it before long.

Hell, if I had carte blanche it'd be a sticky. :yep

    wow.

i got intrigued by this. i remembered wathcing the fight and couldnt recall canelo threw a punch.

so i rewatched it and first 5 rounds was very telling:

    1. canelo threw most of his power punches (right hand) to floyds left arm. i can count his right straight on floyd's face in 1 hand, however almost all landed on floyd's left arm. (someone should make a video of his right straights on floyd arm)

1 power punch landed on round 1, and 2 on round 2. barely 4 power punches ave landed thru 5 rounds.

now contrast this the guy they call zombie (oscar vs. pac):
oscar was averaging close to 7 power punches landed thru first 5 rounds.

canelo's average total punches thrown per round thru first 5 rounds is around 35, oscar was averaging 60, almost double.

    2. when canelo pushed floyd to the ropes with jabs/pressure, he inexplicably backed away or let floyd slipped thru.

    3. he never punched floyd during clinches, like bradley on pac or maidana on broner.

where is the roughing up on floyd?

    4. towards the later rounds, they already know they are behind and needed a knockout but there was no sense of urgency. his output was raised, but you can tell he was never pressuring floyd like he wanted to knock him out. it was business as usual kind of effort.

they know they cant outjab/outbox floyd. it is clear the only way to win is to hurt floyd.

you expect a maidana type of effort on broner, or hatton on floyd on first few rounds, instead you got a zombie effort.

it is like anticipating a loud bang from fireworks on new yrs eve. instead you got a pffftt-barely more audible than your own fart.

if oscar was zombie, this guy was seriously seriously drained zombie or...

he was coasting and getting behind in points on early rounds.

it was never known like that in the beginning. remember pac has weird experiences with blood testing.

just like any other fears, pac has overcome that.

now looking back, we know that floyd will just ***** on another if pac agreed to jsut liek what is happening now.

in the same token, we know now that floyd has never fought an atg in his prime his whole career. at the time he fought them you wont know which one will be atg in the future. now we know no one was.

and dont get me started on the farcical marquez fight.:deal

edit: on the rios fight. pac is covering his bases. if the fight doesnt happen, people wont be able to blame him not agreeing to osdt.

*****s are stuck in the past because they cant defend floyd's actions right now.

the demands are just getting ridiculous and *****s are running in circles to defend them.

worst, they want you to run with them.

edit2; lmao at pac's offer. pac tried and floyd went kaput to hongkong.

Floyd is simply not the fighter that Hagler, Leonard, Duran, and Hearns were. He lacks the heart. Qutie frankly, he lacks the balls. I can empathize that he wants to earn as much money as possible. But, I can not condone his clear disregard for trying to fight the best people he can. He has earned millions of dollars, but, he has not done what the great fighters of the past did to cement his legacy. In 20 years when Floyd has blown his millions and can no longer box, he will realize that his legacy was insignificant historically, and very few people if any will be pulling out videos of Floyd to watch his old fights.

Floyd is scared of Pac but only because losing would drastically diminish his income. A loss can be devastating in boxing and will diminish your PPV numbers. Look what happened to Pacquiao after he lost. His PPV numbers with Rios were very low. I can't imagine Broner will be a big draw without Maidana anymore.

Floyd is smart financially for waiting until probably his last fight to fight Pacquiao. If he fights Pacquiao now and loses, his income will drop drastically as opposed to waiting. It sucks but since fighters get to dictate who fights who, it is what it is.

Do I agree with Floyd business wise? Yes. Do I agree with him legacy wise? No. There are two sides to this and as much as I want to see him fight Pacquiao, I just don't see it happening until the last possible moment. I can't really fault Floyd since look at what happens to a majority of the boxers after retirement... they go broke.

There is no contract, Manny only started claiming that he would take the randomized drug test AFTER the negotiations collapsed, and the only reason he did it was to save face. It's easy to lie or say you'll do this and that when you know there are no negotiations on the table. But in the midst of the negotiation in 2009, Manny was being stubborn on the issue of drug testing. One of the things that pisses me off the most about this issue is that had Manny simply agreed without fussing, none of the fans would have even known about the OSDT agreement nor would we be sitting here talking about it, because it would have been behind-the-scenes just like how all the other terms of agreement such as the purse split, ring size, weight penalty, and glove size were kept behind-the-scene. People didn't learn about OSDT and all of the other negotiation terms until AFTER the fight fell apart.
