they are just 2 different fighters. stylistically, pac would give him problems because of offense and output. floyd wont be able to counter at will. plus, floyd doesnt have the power to keep pac off of him, especially now. i could understand why floyd has avoided him. pac is a tough fight for anyone

it is less about the entertainment factor to be honest either ....mayweather was never a PPV star prior to De-La Hoya and he played the bad boy roll to perfection. I would actually suggest his ratings are due to WWE style bad cop acting , I wonder what % of those people pay in the hope to see his uber inflated ego bought down to earth ??

Yes I absolutely agree he's a beautifully pure boxer but lets face it that's not the reason the masses are tuning in , that's a different audience and down to very powerful marketing tools .
