Couldn't agree more. Doesn't change the fact that it makes them more proven to the eyes of the fans. It has nothing to do with integrity, courage or any other BS people talk they know sh1t about. It has to do with how you evaluate a fighter.

With much more advantages than most of those guys had the luxury of having (again, not his fault. Even Robinson had more than a career worth of fights before he got a title shot. Different times.)

u guys speak about punching power like this is a video game or something.

knock outs happen as a result of a few things....

    1. shot placement- the shot has to land on one of the vital points...chin, temple, ear, jaw. accuracy is very important.

    2. timing- the shot has to land at the right moment. the best is when the opponent doesn't see the shot coming. that's usually when it does the most damage because the opponent doesn't have time to pull away or take the shot.

    3. leverage- the person delivering the shot needs to be set with proper balance to get the most on the shot.

    4. speed- the shot needs to be delivered with some velocity to do damage.

these are just 4 off the top of my head. there may be other factors...but my point is...u take away any of the 4 of these...and the likelihood of a ko happening diminishes significantly. there are several reasons pac may have not scored a ko in a while....i believe the main reason he scored the majority of his ko's above 135 is because his opponents were compromised in some way.

If they're so good (must be if they're better than Froch) then why has nobody ever heard of them? What a loser you are! How dare you belittle Carl Froch the king of England. :nono

i made it clear i am not considering accomplishemtns and or resume. i was talkin p4p. take the top 5/6 guys in every div and they are all better p4p..

true boxing fans and everyone within boxing will know them, i am saying the haters on here wont know lots of them yet.

and obviously we all have different opinions of fighters and our criteria are different. we would just be arguing about something that cant truly be argued.. i know a lot on here like to just trill and get a rise out of posters but i dont want to was taste on a dead point

PS - Froch IS in the top 5/6 in his division.:lol:

Sometimes you just get tired of the senseless droning (trolling if you will) that spews forth from otherwise logical human beings when describing a certain boxer

i know that wouldnt add up to 100 but then there is tons of others in all weight classes thta are netter.

i dont know what p4p is ? do you realize there isnt a real p4p ratinh criteria LOL i can assure you are not anywhere close to my knowlegde in thie sport. no way no how.

the only thing you might be better at is memorizinf boxrec records of fighters.
such as insult for you to try and tell someone they dont know the sport they have been in and around since i was a little kid

i have over 30 years in tis sport and been in training camps and sparred with multiple several weight title holders and helped them roadwork i dont even how many different times.

i respect true dedicated fighters more than anyone else, its the hardest thing to do. thats the reason i hate when people trash fighters on here. ya you go 4 real rounds wuth just aging journeyman and see why you look like a sissy after a couple rounds an see why you end up throwing less every round.

the worset this for fighter is when you get hit from the opponent at will, and everything you try something you get drilled. your ego wont be in control of you anymore. you're seriously looking to survive and for us its not finish it survive..

oh ya p4p for me is if they were in the same weight class who would be favored.. who would win head to head at roughly the same weight.

love to hear your version of p4p

    1. The opponents he fights.
    2. The way he fights them.
