I typed a statement on why I thought Pac's resume wasn't that impressive to me and you countered with something about Cotto not being able to knock Mosley down and Pac did which was irrelevant because the point of my conversation was that both Cotto and Mosley were damaged goods when they faced Pac. Then you post some old tired video with Doug Fisher like his words are the gospel. His opinion is no better than mine or yours and the fact is, I was responding to you and not him. When have Floyd fighting any of them made sense upto now?

Marquez - doesn't want to or can't fight Mayweather, Pacquiao and I also heard he turned down Rios. Looking to fight Alvarado so is he even campaigning at WW anymore if not retiring altogether?

Mayweather - very limited options, almost more so then Pacquiao since Mayweather only wants big names to back up the reputation of only fighting the best. Khan? Yet to fight at WW. Can't or won't fight Pacquiao Bradley Marquez Rios or Provodnikov (who isn't technically WW) Broner ain't happening. Thurman too green they say. Abregu I highly doubt. Alexander is out. Porter and Maidana I suppose. Malignaggi and Kell Brook I don't see happening. Then we're left with the Bizier Vargas Gavin all no names when it comes to Floyd's level.

Pacquiao - mostly a repeat of the post above. Pacquiao is probably on too high a level to bother with most of the division especially for PPV. Can't fight Maidana Broner Floyd etc. Him Marquez and Bradley can have an eternal box off.

Thurman - wants big fights but doubt he gets them anytime soon. Probably tied up fighting Collazo Guerrero Berto type guys for a while. Not bad matchup I suppose seeing as most don't rate him too high right now even though I do.

Bradley - Pacquiao Provodnikov Marquez.

Then we're left with the rest of the pack. Bundu, Paredes, Zaveck, Decarie, Judah, Ortiz, Bracero, Kim, Ushona, Mosley... Not exactly must see tv or has beens.

People want Mayweather to fight Top Rank. Pacquiao Provodnikov Bradley. Pacquiao to fight Golden Boy. Bradley to fight.... I can go on and on with this but I'll just end it with majority of fans want to see fights that just aren't going to happen at welterweight.

I appreciate guys like Thurman and Bradley calling for good fights so it would be nice if Floyd and Pacquiao (more Pacquiao since you really think Arum is the problem) to put some extra pressure on the promoters. I used to be a bigger Pacquiao fan but the I'll fight whoever answer isn't getting it done for me as a fan, maybe for Pacquiao's bank account it is.

Come on at this stage of their careers Floyd and Pac are at that point and money wise where fights are pretty selective....they both paid their dues!

 

You could argue that JMM twice, Bradley twice with Rios in between is a very good last 5 fights for Pac (4 out of last 5 fights vs yop 10 P4P guys).
