I agree...it's definately still up in the air.

I will say though that if Mayweather losses he will fall a good 20 or 30 places down the ATG rankings from his current Top 30 Place at the moment. I don't think Manny's two recent losses have effected his position too much and if he remained unbeaten for the rest of his career he'd fit in somewhere between 11 to 20 on the ATG rankings.

You used Pacquaio being an icon as a way to rank higher than Mayweather. You said, Pacquiao ranks higher, he's an icon. But in another thread you have Lewis over Tyson. Absolutely.

Mayweather's whole boxing persona is built on him being "unbeaten", take that "0" from him and what is he? just a safety first boring boxer with supreme skills. His whole legacy will be tarnished with a loss wheras Manny was already beaten a few times by the time the world got to know about him so it's not such a biggie.
