Mayweather's ranking wouldn't change with a loss just as Pac's ranking hasn't changed from being damn near killed by Marquez. Mayweather's ranking is based on his career's work just like Pac. Haters look for a reason to disparage boxers they don't like. Objective fans can appreciate a boxer's entire body of work.

ive forgotten more about boxing than you have ever learnt.

i made that thread in a few mins

and as for the childish insults, heres another one for you...grab a broom stick preferably a wooden one, place it at a 125 or so angle, hunch down a bit, place the broom with top side facing directly at your butt, remove all obstructions/obstacles, proceed to jump on it and let fate take its toll:ass:ass:hammertime:boogie:ass

I'd say Mayweather is rated higher I seen some Top 50 all time lists that had Mayweather on it after the Hoya fight and not Pacquiao who at that time was a 5-weight titlist already.

But to break it down a bit Mayweather gets points for hisiunbeaten record, Pacquiao for his 8 division titles, Mayweather gets points because all the biggest names he fought were comng off career wins, Pacquiao simply for the name's he's fought, Mayweather gets points for his level of dominance (only one real competitive/close fight), and Pacquiao for how he ends fights (takes a good beating in the process but always gets the KO).

For me it comes down to WHEN fights are fought which tips the edge greatly in Mayweather's favor Pacquiao fights guys coming aalmost directly off a bad loss (1/2 fights prior) and Mayweather fights guys off of winning streaks of atleast 3/4 fights and or 2/3 years.

hmm I don't know about that. At 37 a loss wouldn't hurt him all that much especially if it were to a jr middleweight. But if he were to fight and loose to Manny it would affect their ATG placements relative to each other. But that said I don't think Pac's in the top 11-20 no matter what he does. At best, both might make the top 30.

Name me the year you think that Pacquiao eclipsed Mayweather's accomplishments... Because it didn't happen.

And it has only become more clear over the past several years.

despite the 3 KO losses , Manny still has accomplished more than Floyd has .

10 years from now , whenever someone starts a debate about these 2 fighters .

The majority will ALWAYS say .

Floyd Mayweather Ducked Manny Pacquiao .

He will forever be held responsible and get the blame for this fight never happening .

That will always be a stain on his legacy .

    No.

Both of their legacies will take a huge hit.

And no, Manny gets more blame than Floyd for walking away twice. 40 million and testing.

    Anyways, it doesn't matter anyways.

Both of their legacies take a major hit.
