That's why Pacquiao will be a higher ATG ranking over Mayweather, because Pac has achieved more and better resume than Mayweather. Pacquiao is a warrior. Mayweather is just business and money, easy fights. He knows when to fight "champions" who are tailor made for him or is not a threat.:deal

money isnt the issue. if it is, pedjr would have rematched dela hoya for potentialy 3-4-5x he earned in the first fight.

    but he didnt.

    says how pedjr values money.

    his 0 is priceless.

pac threatens that 0, fight will never happen for any amount as long as the threat is there.

As soon as a fighter hits #1 P4P no one is satisfied.

when pac was #1, i thought he fought everyone he could except the one on vacation.

fans were never satisfied so he kept climbing up weight classes to seek greater challenges until he reached his very limit just to satisfy them.

im fairly satisfied about pac's competition except for one thing. but it seems it is out of his control.

It's not quite plausible to simply compare by age to age as you also need to consider at what stage in their careers they would have been at: ie how many fights they had at that point in their careers, what divisions they were in and the level of competition they fought against. For example when Duran fought Sims, not only was that fight at middle, but more importantly, Duran had almost twice as many fights than Mayweather's had in his whole career and against better comp. And I believe the Duran that beat Moore would have HAMMERED Miguel. The Duran that fought Kirkland Laing never would have been in the ring against Hatton because that fight was at 154, a weight that Hatton never fought at. If you take the Duran of close to 44 fights against Hatton and Marquez, I'm certain that Roberto DESTROYS Hatton and overwhelms Marquez.

Fonz you make good points my fellow New Yorker:good. And your uncle gave you correct information. But again, Duran was hit or miss above 147. You can't judge him at 154 just due to Laing. For example at 160, Barkley is greater than Canelo, Cotto and Oscar (and Laing for that matter). And Vysotskyy's points are true also although I believe he underrates DeJesus a bit as Esteban was considered a great fighter when he was on the go.

Sorry Fonz, with all due respect, at 135 where the fight would have been at and Roberto's best weight(just for the record, a weight Duran never lost at as the DeJesus loss was at 140 in a non-title fight),
there is no way Chico Corrales beats Duran.
