In this case, didnt the #2 and #3 agree to fight each other, even before Floyd fought his last fight?
Arent promotional issues also a massive part of that?

So if the WBO decide to make Kimbo Slice their #1 contender, its ok for Wlad to fight him because of a belt? the gap between Kimbo and Leapai isnt actually as massive as you think.

Im really not sure about Wach and Pianeta being top 20, if they were, only just. Wachs biggest win was against a 300lbs Kevin Mcbride. He has a crazy chin, but literally the worst boxer Ive ever seen fight for a title.

Pianetas best win was against 2 guys in their mid 40s in Botha and McCall.

Im just saying, imagine if the WBC made Ashley Theopane the mandatory for Floyd...would you be cool with Floyd fighting to keep his title?

Floyd is the biggest star in the sport and a bigger target. Not as many people jump on Wlad because very little fans care.

Hagler is probably friends with Khan's team or something. He's just helping hype it up. Or maybe he thinks it's an interesting fight.

Funny how people are saying "Hagler's bitter", "Hagler's a Floyd-hater" .... no, he's just doing a bit of hype.

    Thanks Captain Obvious.

What else? Hagler doesn't like Leonard? Tyson isn't the most stable person? Daniel Zaragoza will never be a GQ cover model?

Floyd doesn't really get singled out. All fighters who are reasonably big names get criticism and people defending them. Some more than others. Floyd is considered the best P4P, maybe the biggest star and biggest mouth, so naturally people will talk about him more.

Wlad gets some criticism and others defending him, but a lot of people simply don't care enough about him and the HW division.

Yeah sure , only if they say something negative about Floyd .

Then automatically there opinions dont matter

50 cent is a former d#ck sucker and closest friend of Mayweather . He used to ride Floyd hard with no condom like all of you do .

He came back to reality and ended his friendship with Floyd when he finally realized how cowardly his best friend is .

His opinion matters and deep down , you know it does :yep

Do people actually feel better that "their" guy is less to blame?

"The fans have already been badly cheated by Floyd and Pac not fighting, but Floyd/Pac is more to blame than Pac/Floyd, so hooraayy!!! I can feel better that my man-love is less to blame than the other guy!!"

    Yes .

    pretty much .

In their delusional ass minds , opinions only matter when its praising Floyd , not criticizing him .

Khan is not a fast, explosive combination puncher. He's a fast guy who throws sloppy inaccurate arm flurries.

Floyd deserves a ton of criticism for not doing his part to make the Pacquiao fight (as do Arum and Manny), but Mayweather-Khan is a horrendous mismatch and criticizing Floyd for not taking that fight would only serve to give an extra reason for some of his idiot fans to say "Khan is a good fight to take" by bringing up stuff like "people criticized Floyd for not facing Khan earlier....now nobody is happy, blah blah blah" when this grotesque mismatch eventually does happen.
