Don't know why people rant and rave about this fight to this day, it was yesteryears Bowe-Lewis.

It's about time we get over it.

Depends how dominating Pac is. If Pac dominates, the fight will absolutely not happen. Arum, gotta beat JMM first, 80/20 purse split, whatever it takes.

I hope there won't be any roadblocks for the fight to be made.

The only 2 fights I'd like to see for FLoyd in September is taking on the winner of Pac-Bradley or Cotto-Martinez.

For the Manny fight to happen, it'll probably take a 70-30 split in favor of FLoyd and he'll probably request all the profit from PPV sales as well as random blood and urine tests.

    The fight won't happen, period.

Mayweather is too paranoid about it, he didn't want no part of Pacman since he was a rising star, the promotional war is just what it is, another excuse.

By the way, it would be only logical to fight the winner of this fight, be it Bradley or Manny.

But it's already clear that Maynever wants no part of Bradley, too.

Seems that now that he's reaching the end of his career he's even more determined in avoid any kind of good competition.

Talk about a baseless statement. SO what was Canelo Alvarez exactly? The tomato can of the month?

And please, don't make it seem like FLoyd is scared of either Pacman or Bradley. He's superior to both fighters skills-wise and he's also the naturally larger guy in the ring compared to those 2.

I just want to see him fight the winner of Pacman-Bradley just to get another HOF scalp on his resume. But neither guy has better than a 25% chance at beating FLoyd.

I seriously doubt a guy with over 45+ professional fights is scared of other boxers in the sport, especially guys he'd clearly be favored over.

i cant explain that to floyd because i dont know the guy but could you explain your interpretation on bob arum and his 100 excuses ?

    http://www.fighthype.com/pages/content11512.html

now you could say "yeh but thats bob arum manny is the fighter he ultimately decides who he wants to fight" but as we have seen many times pacquiao constantly says "whatever my promoter wants"

It's not likely to happen, just like every other truly dangerous style/opponent Floyd has had chances to face over the last six years or so and has somehow avoided. He is not fighting bums in the interim, but Floyd is only interested in facing guys he matches up very favorably with that don't possess the tools needed to beat him for as much money as possible. The only real possibility of the Pac fight happening is if Pacquiao somehow wins, but looks totally shot in the process of doing so, and even then it's an unlikely prospect.

floyd is holding up the fight now in my eyes and im a floyd fan. but if you take the time to see where he is coming from

floyd back in 2010 offered him 50/50 split, glove and ring size and agreed at the drop of a hat to pacs never before herd of 10m per lb weight penalty. why would pacs team demand that both fighters come in at a level playing field but alas mayweather agreed.

not it should be noted mayweather is the champion here, he was also the biggest draw so if you look at what he just agreed to you have to think thats BEYOND FAIR to pac. all mayweather asked for was blood testing up until the day of the fight. why did he want this? well he clearly thought pac was on something and he just wanted to make sure he was clean... just like pac wanted to make sure mayweather would not come in overweight

pac declined.. now at this point BIG questions get raised but more importantly the challanger just hindered negotiations by shooting down a request which is no more difficult and fair then pacs 10m per lb penalty. if mayweather were to be pig headed (and we all know he can be) and walk away right then and there any logical person would not blame him... but he did not.. he gave pac 14 day cutoff offer..team pac declined and walked away to sign clottey..

i mean that to me is a joke and the only reason so many people scream from the mountains pac is a ducker is because 1. they are casual fans and 2. bob arums smear campaign that he has been running on mayweather since he and may had split back in the day

now lets fast forward to present day (skipping the events from nov 2011-feb2012 when floyd chased and chased pac and arum and arum put up ridiculous roadblocks such as stadiums.. and cuts that would not heal for may but would for others... http://www.fighthype.com/pages/content11512.html )

now in present day floyd is still ontop coming off some average wins and some really great ones, he is still undefeated and hes ppvs are still as good as they were and you have pac who has been robbed against bradley, robbed marquez in the 3rd fight and been knocked out against marquez in the 4th fight

AND NOW he is willing to accept the terms... NO.... after your promoter dodged and weaved me denying me the chance to fight an ATG and his cash cow, after he talked **** about me and made me out to be the sole purpose for the megafight not getting made, after the split we had in which you still owe me money for.. and you want me to give your faded cash cow the last big final paycheck so he can retire?... meanwhile i receive little to no credit for fighting him because he is clearly past his best

how does that work? cant you honestly read that and tell me you would be pissed off to? i mean i want to see the fight more then anyone and i dont like that mayweather is being a little pig headed about it now but you cant deny he has a right to be upset. i havent seen you around icarus i assume your not one of those over passionate filipinos that constantly rants on this board with baseless claims that constantly get disproven so please do me a favour read over what i have said carefully and really think about it from a neutral standing.

    is it fair?

Pacquiao fought Mexican greats albeit a tad old Mexican greats but they were formidable and gave Pacquiao hell heck, Marquez put him to sleep ffs. Win or lose Pacquiao goes after the best available and who better than the slick one. Mr Floyd Mayweather jnr is the next logical fight for Pacquiao. Why is Floyd not giving him the opportunity.

Why not just fight it out in the ring quit ducking and stalling the fight!!!

You don't think Manny, Arum, Top Rank have ever ducked Floyd? Let me ask you a question, who turned down a Mayweather fight and signed to fight Joshua Clottey?

Let me ask you this why do you still live in the past? It's 2014 if this fight doesn't happen now it wont happen. Floyd's last excuse was drug test. Pacquiao has now agreed to it.The latest Floyd says he wont do bizness with Arum. How the **** is this fight going to get made. With his prima donna ways!!

Jmm outboxed Pac. Now pbf is a better boxer than jmm not only that he has better defense is bigger longer a better athlete and better reflexes. Pac beats people by overwhelming them not out boxing them against pbf he would be in with a superior boxer who's just as good of an athlete but who has better reflexes and bigger. Pac can't deal with counter punchers he would be in over his head with a complete boxer like pbf that's why pbf is considered the favorite and iit's easy to see. Lastly offense sells tickets but defense wins championships pbf would shut down pacs offense making look ordinary and take him apart.
