My opinion- It's a sad fact that Arum has been Manny's problem for a number of years. It is about lining his pockets. When Manny was at his best, Arum kept his income stream flowing by throwing him at everyone but Klitschko, and I'm only assuming that he didn't try to make that fight, too.

This is why we are looking at a fairly used up boxer today, although he has shown he can still fight.

I don't believe WE know who's been ducking who over these years. Manny at his best was a good person to avoid, though.

I believe we will see a useless rubber match with Bradley... a 5th fight with Marquez... then more matches with anyone within a 30 pound radius (think Rigo, Golovkin)... before we see Mayweather, who, by that time will have even less to fear than he may now.

If Arum cared he would try to help Pac out of his financial difficulties so he can retire without slurring. But friends, I do not think we will see that.

Bradley was far more dangerous for Pac than Canelo was for Mayweather. Everyone with half a brain knew Mayweather was going to win against Canelo. The victory was not certain for Pac over Bradley.

Plus, it's hard to argue Canelo's resume is better. I'm curious where all the resume champions are who usually treat resumes as the Holy Grail. Oh, yeah, they all happen to be *****s. Nowhere to be found when resumes go against them.

Mayweather's victory over Canelo is significantly lesser in value than Pacquiao's over Bradley on the premises of a) H2H match-up and b) quality of win.
