    Always liked both of them.

Just think Mayweather is vastly superior to Manny in boxing.

the funniest thing is you just got school by MVC of all ****ing posters... this guys post history and reason for posting is to make himself seem like the most ******ed fanboy there is.. and he ****ing left you speechless

just stood there to get hit... rofl no he did not he pressed forward about 50-60 percent of the time and mayweather amazingly pushed the bigger stronger canelo for the other 50-40

we all know you watched the fight like the other 2.2 or 2.4 (i honestly forget) million and most of you wanted to see floyd lose and you would not have tuned in with such high numbers if you did not honestly believe canelo had no chance

    actions speak louder then words

I agree Mayweathers boxing skill is much more superior to Mannys(this is one of the reasons why i tend to pick Floyd over Manny if they do fight) but at the same time as a fan of both these guys i would say in the area of offence Pacquiao has the upper hand.

Maybe in 2008-2009, but Floyd Mayweather is far more accurate in 2014.

Manny was a different fighter in 2008.

It's plain to see how he's regressed.

Yes Pac has declined whereas May looks good as ever if they do happen to fight i would say it is a 70-30 percent fight in favor of may as of now.The fight should of happened in 09 at that time it was a 50/50 the event would of been greater the super bowl.

Funny that you could careless for the title but when CATCHweather fights the likes of Guerrero and Maidana that is the first thing you bring up to justify the cherrypick. :think

    how was he disrespectful ?

he clearly thought pac was on roids but like the opinion of someone who has prob never spoken or been around manny let alone fought him hold any weight ? its just opinion... pac declining the test (even 14 day cutoff offer from may after 0 days was declined) raised alot of eyebrows

any logical person would use the testing issue to gain leverage in negotiations

"ok fine ill do your testing BUT I WANT THESE GLOVES" or "i want this much more cash"

to be fair he should have got no leverage from it because floyd agreed to the equally unherd of "10m per lb weight clause".

you want disrespectful how about spitting in the face of the champion who offered you 50/50 split , gave into your never herd of before demands and was even willing to negotiate his own demands when you had an issue with them

only for them to decline and then run a smear campaign for the next few years blaming mayweather. when floyd was pushing his sentence back and chasing arum and pac after pac marquez 3 arum came up with god knows how many pathetic excuses! but to name a few

    1. cuts wont heal in time for a may fight but will for marquez
    2. who will gaurentee floyds purse ? (bob arum suddenly concerned with the financial state of the worlds highest paid athlete)
    3. theres not enough time to promote the fight (its just been gatheting hype for 3 years at this point bob... no rush mate)
    4. why is schaffer calling me? i better not answer or call them back, i dont know who handles floyds fights and negotiations
    5. floyd cant fight manny as i know personally that he has allready signed to fight erik morales (does not know who negotiates and works with floyd and has for years but suddenly knows his opponent before ANYONE ELSE.. which obviously turned out to be bull****)
    6. mythical stadiums need to be erected to maximize prophet, the MGM just is not good enough...

    and my personal fav

    7. floyd cant fight manny as to share a ring with a man with a criminal history and that has been as disrespectful as floyd wont look good for mannys political career. did he think they were going to be pals and hug it out in the ring or something ? maybe do some karaoke ?

honestly floyd is holding the fight up NOW and only now.. and as much as it hurts the sport as a whole and his own career you can def see why he wont deal with arum, not to mention arum still owes him money from fights when he fought under him

WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT ?

if floyd turns around after maidana and makes a few calls to negotiate it would not suprise me if arum came up with more excuses to hold up the fight. "you want the fight just call us like a human being and lets negotiate".. did you see him saying that SO SERIOUS so "over it" you'd almost be forgiven for thinking arum has been chasing this fight for years...

everytime i bring these points up its just idiotic miss-direction. SUPRISE ME and answer sensibly

Pacquiao has been declining since the Margarito fight but I actually thought he looked better on Saturday than he has since then. Interestingly, along with that, the best he looked from 2011-on was in the 17 minutes and 55 or so seconds against Marquez before he got laid out.

He's 35 and has a shitload of wear-and-tear on him. He's had to adapt. He may be more economical with his output and cautious in general. Despite slowing down, he still showed excellent speed of hand and foot, good thinking in the ring, good enough power to hurt Bradley. He did a pretty good defensive job, better than usual.

He's obviously not what he was in 09-10, but he's still one of the top guys out there. I really am surprised he has lasted as long as he has at the elite level. Given his frenetic style, I would've thought he would have already been a shot fighter a couple years ago.

Floyd is declining too, but closer to his prime than Pacquiao. He has more technical skills to fall back on and doesn't get hit as much. From what has been said, he also takes care of his body better than Pacquiao.

Also, I just personally feel he is a better fighter than Manny

    I disagree.

He was catching silly shots all night long, had it been Marquez right hands, he'd be on the canvas again.

Great post i agree with all your points i am surprised as well Manny has managed to last this long considering his style.I have been watching boxing for 13 years and in all those times i have enjoyed watching pacquiao and Mayweather i would also add Pacquiao entertained me more due to his offensive style.

And you think Bob not only trash talking but openly trying to destroy Floyd's business and PPV revenue base will lead to you being able to see the fight?

You're in for a rude awakening. History clearly shows that Floyd would not give up on any advantages his current status bestow on him.

In any case, Bob's current antics is essentially and purposely pushing Floyd away. It also ties in nicely with Freddie Roaches revelation just a few days ago, that Bob would rather that the Floyd fight should be the last fight for Pac in Pac's career.

So, I honestly don't know why some still believe Bob wants this fight to happen yet.

But, it's all good...whatever makes some fans maintain their line in the sand.

What about Mayweather trying to destroy Pacquiao's entire career and achievements by calling him a cheater?, did that mean nothing?
