isn't that after FLoyd already fought Shane though? OP is talking about the initial negotiations before Floyd ended up fighting MOsley cuz Pac went for clottey.

IDK what your talking about for how Canelo wasn't a legit opponent and all the "*****s are swarming" stuff, but I assume that's carryover from another conversation, so whatever I'll ignore that...

But as far as Pacquiao vs Canelo. There's nothing but proof in Canelo's favor for that fight. Physically, he'd be one of if not THE biggest fighter Pacquiao ever fought. He'd be one of if not THE hardest puncher Pacquiao ever fought. And MOST IMPORTANTLY, he's be one of if not THE FASTEST fighters Pacquiao has ever fought.

And that's all completely disregarding his boxing skill. Sure Bradley is a "slicker" boxer, but Bradley was also physically inferior to Pac in just about every way. Slower, weaker puncher, less naturally gifted, and didn't even have the benefit of being noticeably if at all BIGGER than Pac. He had 0 advantages... AND YET STILL HAD PLENTY OF SUCCESS

That wouldn't be the case with Canelo. I'm assuming you're not dumb enough to pick Pac by KO over Canleo, and instead are betting on him outboxing him. That's arguable at best. The only person Pac has ever thoroughly outboxed in recent years is Rios... I don't care how little you think of Canelo, you can't tell me Rios is anywhere near his level.

Youre a moron. how dare you call jmm a ducker!!! the man is a legend and doesnt owe anyone a damn thing. hes fought the wars against the best and can do as he pleases in the twilight of his career. Nobody wants to see a 5th fight as there is no need for it. pac needs to fight floyd but there isnt much pac can do when a guy doesnt want to fight you.

Boxing is these peoples lives. It's their legacy and when all is said and done there will be statues of these men left standing long after they are gone. Marquez pulled off one of the greatest Wins in recent boxing history with KO'ing Pacquiao in the fashion he did. I don't blame him if he wants to end his Pacquiao Chapter on that win. They've given us 4 great fights to look back on.

Don't you guys get tired of arguing over the same thing for the last 4 years?

It never goes anywhere, people have their opinions that don't change, and these two divas have yet to fight.

He will fight Pacquiao a fifth time. That's his only way to make history(first Mexican to win titles in 5 weight divisions) and make serious money.

Sounds to me that Roidquez knows that he got lucky, and that Pac would beat him in a 5th fight. Bradley completely schooled him, Pac just beat him.. Who is JMM going to fight after Alvarado? 5th fight with Pac? rematch with Bradley? Provodnikov? there aren't any easy fights out there for him, and a 5th fight with Pac is the most lucrative. No way he'll pass it up.

Again I repeat, Arum isn't doing anything Mayweather hasn't done before. Actually, it was Mayweather who took the insults way too far with his "cheater" claims and racist remarks, all of which he was forced to apologize for which he did.

Seriously man, if Mayweather had better options he wouldn't be reduced to fighting the likes of Maidana and Khan after it.

Of course he isn't going to get an offer better than that because he won't be fighting someone like Mayweather and risking a very possible loss in the process. Do you think Mayweather will make against Pacquiao what he usually does?, I promise you he would be making double because the interest in a Pacquiao fight would be over the edge. Common sense.
