The Hatton fight was 5 years ago!

How can you say Pac is naturally 6-9 lbs lighter when Floyd weighed in at 149, A MONTH before the Maidana fight?

I have seen some pretty serious knockouts in my lifetime and I must admit that was one of the worst knockouts I have ever witnessed. I seriously thought he was dead. What do you think? Is Manny Pacquiao the recipient of the worst/most brutal KO in the history of boxing?

No. It was an awesome KO but others were more brutal

    Ike Williams-Beau Jack
    Vincent Pettway-Simon Brown
    Ray Mercer-Tommy Morrison
    David Tua-John Ruiz
    Julian Jackson-Herol Graham
    Razor Ruddock-Michael Dokes

that ray mecer tommy fight was brutal because tommy was hung up on the ropes but clearly out on his feet. manny getting koed is up there with tua ruiz fight to me.
pacquiao was about the same he did to hatton at the end of the day. i can just see that happening to hatton but not pacman against jmm in a 4th fight.

you guys still have to understand that just because floyd and manny are light dont mean then could fight a lower weight classes. i think mayweather trying to make 140 would kill him. pacman can make it i think and fight ok but not floyd. just because you can make a certain weight dont mean you can fight at that weight. look at dawson when he went to 168 to fight ward. that move ruined his damn career, we all know what happend to jones jr.

i think 140 is pac's optimum weight but business wise, not so much because he will be heavily favored against any top lww.

pedjr's defense doesnt work as much against southpaws than it does against ortho.

pedjr wont be sitting on his punches, more so against pac, so he wont be hurting pac.

pee vs. pedjr was a farce of a fight. pee was 2 weight classes below and was cheated in scales, yet pedjr couldnt hurt pee.

no meaningful comparison can be derived from this fight except that the punches that pee took from pac, pedjr couldnt.

pedjr is tailor made for pac, not the other way around.:good

Hes heavily favored against any WW bar one as well.

Fact is, neither Floyd nor Pac have fought at LWW in at least 5 years.

We can all talk about what they "could" do.

The fact is they both weigh in 145/146 for their fights and fight as WW's

bradley was walking around at 185 for his first fight with pac. thats alot of weight 185 to fight at 147. ww are not small fighters at all. only pac and may can fight out there walking around weight and hopkins. everyone else is coming down 20 plus pounds.

Mayweather has fought at WW since the end of 2005. Pacquiao has since 2008. They are both Welterweights. Floyd is a little more lengthy to Pacquiao's stockiness and that compensates for the very slight difference in their fighting size; results seen by the recent fight night weights.

Fact is team Pac is documented to have said that Pac can still fight at 140. Also, Pac himself said that HE CAN make 140 and that is his "perfect weight".
    Here is your source: http://www.philstar.com/sports/2014/04/21/1314306/roach-prefers-pacquiao-140-lb

Fact is Mayweather agreed to a catchweight of 144 against JMM, then didn't make it.
And since then, we have no reason to believe that FMJ can still make 140. Zero.

Floyd and Pac both can make WW comfortably. That doesn't mean that's the lowest they both can go comfortably and competitively.
It's a business-driven game, why would Pac go down to 140 if there are no big names there?

If you can't accept that simple logic, then you are a ****** plain and simple.

we can all say how he can or cant that dont mean squat. i never seen pacman dominated and prolly never will. pacman name is big enough to make the fight happen. he dont need rematches with this robbery and that robbbery or what ever the case is. pac needs to sign a 2 fight deal with al haymon.

Pacquaio is actually bigger than Mayweather structurally. Thicker bone density equals naturally bigger man. In terms of Bradley And Pacquaio, as big and muscular as Bradley was in his upper body, Pacquiao was in his lower body, there was no size advantage for Bradley.
