Well Manny could've accepted 40 million dollars.

Granted, I don't think it was fair for FLoyd to only offer him a flat fee and not receive any of the PPV revenue.

But it still would've been Manny's largest purse for any fight he's ever been in BY FAR.

If he wanted to shut up FLoyd, he should've accepted the 40 million dollar offer. I don't know how many boxers in the sport would turn down that type of guaranteed money to fight FLoyd.

If FLoyd didn't want to fight him, he would've never called him and offered him such a huge lump sum of money. Plain and simple, no one put a gun to FLoyd's head and forced him to call Manny. You'd have to assume if he called him directly and offered him such an obscene amount of cash that he was serious about fighting Pacman.

I really hope they do fight in the near future just so a lot of these silly threads can be put to rest already. It's the same repetitive, cyclical garbage.

Well calling them amateurish might be a bit of an overstatement. But they were both extremely sloppy in the ring that night. Maybe it was due to their clashing styles, but still very sloppy nonetheless.

Pacman's footwork and handspeed looked slower than in years past, and Bradley had one of the worst gameplans I can remember in an elite level championship fight--he actually tried to look for a 1 punch KO against pacman. For a guy with 11 or 12 KO's on his 30+ win resume, that was quite possibly the worst gameplan he could come up with.

All I saw from both fighters that night is they'd be a very heavy underdog against FLoyd, and if either of them fought in a similar manner against Mayweather like they did against each other, they'd get dominated from round 1 on.

I used to think Pacman had around a 30% chance or so against Mayweather back in 2008-2009. Now I don't give him more than a puncher's chance at best.

 

He will be missed as much as the cinema will miss Will Smith when he retires!

and that 40 mil? thats not all floyd would be paying out...he wants arum to stay out of the promotion...said TR can be on the banner and that TR will be paid for pacs services(im sure that aint gonna come cheap)...basically TR would prob be getting close to their cut of what theyd have made off of manny anyway...he just doesnt want them involved in the promotion...

like i said about the 40 mil....i dont think that includes what floyd would have paid arum for pacs services....schaefer has said they wanted to do the fight like arum suggested they do donaire/mares.....where arum is paid a service fee and steps aside and they let golden boy/mayweather promotions handle the promotion.....
