And then in the next sentence he talks about his legacy being what is important. If he retires at 46-0 or 47-0, his legacy ain't important.

Great timing to hang them up? Knowing Pacquiao is the WBO 147 Champion and the Mayweather-Pacquiao hype is back again.

The pressure is back on Mayweather, you feeling sad just because you are a *****.

    Promotion, all promotion.

He has no intention of fighting Pac. It is what it is.

He can do other stuff down under to make up for it or he's simply not retiring.

Anyone that brings excitement and attention to the sport, regardless of his choice of opponents, is never good out of it unless you're a pure hater.

It doesn't matter what Mayweather does. The haters will say he should have fought Khan. If he would have done that, they would say he should have fought Maidana. Next they will say he should fight Martinez. Then he should fight Ward, then Klitchko. I understand not liking the guy - he has done plenty of things to warrant that, but if you can't see he is the best boxer of this generation, then you are either blinded by hate or just don't know anything about boxing.

People stop the non-sense!!! Mayweather is a professional, you might not like him personally, but he is a true warrior. He has fought anyone out there-i.e. Canelo (who is basically a middleweight), Corrales (who was considered a monster when they fought) and the list goes on and on. You will never be satisfied, what do you guys want?? On another note, The fight w/ Manny pacquiao will never happen as long as the Pac-Man is tied to Bob Arum. This is just business. Mayweather does not need to give Arum $20 million to make this fight possible. And last but not least, Pacquiao needs to finish his contract w/ Arum, at this point it is not convenient for him. So boxing fans relax and enjoy Floyd Mayweather while he is still fighting, you will not see someone at his level in the next 30 years.

Mayweather vs Alvarez @ 152, he was a zombie in that fight, no wonder why he couldn't even make 154 the next fight against Angulo and made him sign a new contract for the fight to be @ 155.

It's probably just a smart ploy to generate more interest for the PPV.

If he does decide to hang them up, he'll be missed. Nothing but respect for what he's achieved in his career. Boxing has been his life for over a quarter of a century. On top of that, the wear and tear it's done to his physical well-being. It would be a good move to bow out of the sport while he's on top.

You act as if Money had a crystal ball and knew that Caneloe was going to have a hard time making 154 in his next fight. What an ignorant dumbass.
