You see? People come around here saying that this particular guy or that particular opponent would be humiliated by Floyd that we know but still Floyd has to perform, he must get up and fight. Not like he's a virtuoso performer, a prima donna that scores here, taps there, rolls over here, side steps over there, check hooks and sneak right counters in between and backsteps outa danger. AGE got to him and these young guns are hungry to take bites, Khan with his handspeed, skillset, footwork and athleticism, Manny is more than willing to fight at a relentless pace and dig deep with left counters and heymakers and ***y Sergio simply wants to run after him and connect huge shots on his head. Floyd better take fights seriously or he won't make 50-0.

 

Mayweather lost clearly for me. That is my honest opinion no attempt at getting a rise and I don't see why anyone should think it is.

 

That is not Pac's style of calling people out.

It's like saying, "why doesn't Broner try to be humble"?

We saw again last night how fast Khan throws his punches, short, crisp, and with pinpoint accuracy.

Mayweather is not some master counterpuncher who closes his eyes and launches wild L hooks hoping to land something.


Khan is faster, stronger, and bigger than Mayweather. His punches are harder, straighter and he's seemed to finally understand the concept of defense. :yep

 

Calling out the pound for pound king in front of a PPV audience and in one of the biggest boxing events of the year is quiet different, especially considering this is a fight the world has demanded for more than 5 years now.

Floyd is an amazing figther but Pacqiao has a good chance of beating him. I'm tired of people bringing up JMM cause everyone knows styles make fights. Pac crushed other common opponents (Cotto, De La Hoya, Hatton) in ways Mayweather never did; JMM is an exception. Also, Mayweather's style is not the same as Marquez to stop beating this drum Mayweather fans. Mayweather has no punching power to rival JMM's 40 KOS! Maidana could've been KNOCKED OUT by JMM last night if he had attacked JMM like he did Floyd; he knew Floyd doesn't have much punching power and just went after Floyd, risking getting countered. JMM is a very different opponent for Pac than Mayweather is. Pacqiao fights JMM a bit scared cause JMM has a lot of KO power and he loves to counter Manny's offensive style. Keep in mind, JMM gets hit A LOT by Manny too, he just gambles. Also, JMM vs Floyd is is just a different matchup altogether, Floyd makes Maquez attack (something he doesn't do much vs Pac) and this is not JMM's instinctive style. It's just apples and oranges..

What i see in a Pac vs Mayweather fight is a lot of trouble for Mayweather

1. Pac will attack relentlessly without fear as Mayweather lacks punching power. Floyd will be under the gun all night and feel pressure
2. Mayweather will get hit A LOT if he fights like he fought vs Maidana; Pac is much faster than Maidana and can throw more combinations
3. Mayweather will be scared to counter as much as he knows he could be on the losing end of trading punches with a fighter as fast as Pac. Judges will see less punches from Mayweather and he could lose rounds due to this
4. Pacqiao's defense is underrated. Bradley almost never hit pacqiao, he moves well and ducks punches effectively. JMM caught Manny with a lucky punch, Manny was actually beating the sht out of JMM when he got knocked out... he just got reckless. It's almost as if JMM playes possom


I know the odds would favour Floyd in Vegas but i would put it 50/50 purely based on skills, experience and how they match up. Floyd's biggest issue will be his lack of punching power as Manny will be happy to trade punches. No-one beats Manny trading punches, even Mayweather

 

Mayweather will never fight Pacquiao because he is scared. He said it himself.

nah... floyd just cant handle pressure fighter. He cherry pick his opponents carefully. He just showed the world his blueprint. Cherrypicked gone wrong. This fight didnt made him look like a million dollar.
