Margarito loves to fight guys like Maidana. It would be a birthday present for him.

I don't think he'd do something like that, it's too dangerous of a proposition to voluntarily make yourself vulnerable in a fight just to hype up a future mega-fight with someone else.

For as high a boxing IQ as Mayweather has, and his is through the roof, he fought a very baffling fight strategically for the 1st 5 rounds. WHy he didn't utilize his lateral footwork and sidestep Maidana while he was on the ropes made no sense to me at all. He stayed true to his word and fought toe to toe which is the only reason why it was close for the first 6. Had he emulated his lateral movement in the same manner he did with The Ghost, it would've ended with similar results to that fight.

Props to Maidana though for bringing the fight to him. It was a clear win for FLoyd, but it was one he had to earn the hard way.

Well, the since Floyd is obviously and A++ level fighter, Maidana is obviously not a C level fighter.

And if by chance you are claiming that Floyd is a C Level fighter (or even close), then A and B do not exist.

I haven't seen the fight but if Mayweather struggling vs Maidana proves anything it is that the outcome is not predetermined which is what I've been saying for years. 1 million *****s thought or still thinks he would win doesn't mean anything... at all!! Floyd has to actually prove it.

Damn shame, I am asking why Hero Pacquiao is awfully silent and not present at this event, where is he at, shouldn't he at the post fight press conference calling out Floyd? As we all know the spectre of Floyd loomed large over Pac-Bradley 2 to the point that Arum was crying bout it rather than promoting Manny. I would think Manny would want his face on some of those promotional materials for his upcoming theoretical fight with Floyd? So until Hero Pacquiao pursues Floyd himself rather than behind his keyboard warriors there ain't sh-t for a **** to say.

When we hear Manny say Floyd is getting old, slow, lost a step, can't handle my swarming offense, etc.. then I'll pay attention

Admit it, the show was better than Pac v Rios + Bradley I and II combined! Floyd is exciting while Pac has become a runner.
