Maidana showed why Mayweather ducks and hates certain styles and Pacquiao has everything that Mayweather is scared of

ya he owned me...made an irrational statement saying that pac was offered 1/3 of his worth

    when he was offered 50/50

yeah thats ownage....u are a sad little boy

when all you hear is "blah blah" its because you cant refute it with anything....if you can even comprehend it to begin with....hearing "blah blah" is a state of confusion or the inability to focus and understand what is being said

guy makes a statement about pac being offered 1/3 of his worth....yet we all know he was offered 50/50 with a 14 day cutoff and he walked.....how is that 1/3 of anything? yet you call it an "own" and hear "blah blah"....do you have ADD?

even the 40 mil offer...when broken down isnt 1/3 of pacs worth unless you project some very high numbers....people forget that 40 will go directly to pac and floyd would being pay another 10-15 mil to arum himself to step aside for the promotion

His analogy was actually spot on! I especially loved the comparison of an employer giving a potential candidate for employment rules and regulations never given to any other employee in the company....very similar to what May did to Pac....quite frankly almost identical.:deal

M.s. said it best, Floyd never wanted the fight that's why he asked for what he did. It was all bull****.

Somehow Floyd managed to win the fight though. Funny how that works.

This is a terrible analogy!! Terrible!!! Your pro Pac stance in this is laughable dude. Seriously!!

First off most companies have either a set starting rate or a flexible rate of pay based on experience, education, etc. Therefore no company in the world is going to make an offer of 1/3 of X when they are paying people X to begin with.

Secondly due to this silly concept of fairness and consistency, no company is going to give a certain individual rules or policies that only pertain to that PARTICULAR individual. It's a law suit waiting to happen. Companies like to avoid needless litigation.

Finally, the last time I checked companies, when in need of it, are searching for top talent. I really don't think an organization is really worried about some new guy coming in and taking jobs away from people. If that was the case, how would ANYONE ever get hired?

The first analogy is spot on and is exactly what Gepetto Bob and his boy Pinocchio Pac did. The only thing I would add to it is Pac took the Clottey fight because back then his financial situation was better than it is some 5+ years later. Now he's practically begging for the work he walked away from!

in reality we are not talking about a company, we are talking about floyd to manny, and as absurd and rediculious as his offers sound, and the crazy rules that were created just for manny
,thats exactly what he did under the pretense of cleaning up the sport.also floyd is afraid of being embarrassed, losing his o,and losing his #1pfp status.which lines up with this analogy.

Right Floyd and Manny were being discussed and analogies were used to put some perspective on the situation.. One analogy was fantastic (not yours) and the other a ****ing trainwreck (100% yours).

So by your logic the first guy to ask for a catchweight was being ridiculous? The first guy to demand the lion's share of the purse out of his mind? It was a negotiation. Both sides had things that they wanted. At the end of the day a needle was too much to ask of Manny. Thus no fight. 10 million per pound over 147 is a stupid request but it was agreed to. Trying to bill Manny as an ATG who would have beaten SRL, then having his ass handed to him by Floyd is bad business for Bob.
