I think if you could add Casamayor & Frietas to his SFW resume for Undisputed Title, Tyszu instead of Gatti for the Lineal Title,Pacquiao after Mosley in 10", & Martinez after Cotto in 12" for Undisputed at MW along with what he's already done up until now he'd arguably be Top 10/5 All-Time If he could remain unbeaten. The only real threat imo would be Martinez the rest easy wins, Margarito & Williams didn't really amount to anything in the grand scheme of things and out of them all there the only ones without HOF credentials so they don't really effect one way or another .

and for fun if he wanted to fight Hopkins at 160 he would lose to Bernard easily even at 50 years old. Thats not too unbelievable of a matchup considering Duran a former 135er defeated prime Barkley immediately after he KOd Tommy hearns at 160.

 

where did you get that info from floyd?you should know by now that you cant trust what floyd comes up with in regards to fighting manny. he is liable to come up with anything as long as the outcome is no fight with pacquiao.

this was the same sort of deal that arum offered them in regards to a donaire/mares fight.....schaefer said they will use the same blueprint arum gave them if pac wants the fight......the official number to arum was not given...its speculation...but it was likely to be no less than 10 million....

Donaire-Mares blueprint

Schaefer said Golden Boy is willing to follow the blueprint set by Top Rank for the aborted Nonito Donaire-Abner Mares fight last year. In that instance, Arum offered to pay Golden Boy a fee for Mares’ services and put Golden Boy’s logo on promotional materials, but Top Rank will handle all the promotion.

The Donaire-Mares bout never came to fruition.

“We are using his blueprint. The same thing he said with Donaire, that Donaire was such a bigger star than Mares,” said Schaefer. “Okay, you know what, we will use your own blueprint.”

Schaefer said Mayweather was the undisputed “number one star in the sport,” and that he was the “A-side” of the negotiations.

“We are not looking to cut Arum out. This is not about not paying Bob,” he said. “He can have his Top Rank logo on the banner, no problem. He can have a few seats, no problem.”

Not true, Mayweather made the only 2 real attempts to make this fight. All Arum and Pacquiao have done was say what they would do, and call Mayweather scared in the media. No attempts to make the fight. The champ doesn't seek out the challenger, the challenger seeks the champ. It is on Arum and Pacquiao to make the contacts, but have they?? They haven't because it is Arum, that doesn't want it...

 

If Arum cared about the fans and making Manny the most money he would take his step aside fee and make Manny available to face Mayweather....but he ain't gon do that is he?

i explained to you that when you look at the offer of 40 mil you consider theres another chunk of money going to arum and arum touches none of mannys 40 mil.....thats also considered "manny money"....because if floyd just said heres 55 mil arum is going to take a chunk

if you look at revenues from oscar/floyd....canelo/floyd and how much money was given out to the fighters....youd realize that deal floyd offered isnt bad....and is likely somewhere near 60/40

floyd called....he picked up the phone and manny hung up saying "i want 50/50"....but he had said he was willing to take less right?....the least manny could have done is said "ok while i got you here on the phone lets work something out....lets use this as a starting point"....could have even said "ill take that...but if we do x amount of buys i want this or that"...he did nothing

Paul obliterated Quintana the next fight. Who knows why he lost the first time, but I wouldn't discredit how good he was based on one bad fight. The guy lost TWO times!
