The difference....Maidana is a pure knockout artist and needed those gloves. I would have love to see some of these punches that landed pn Floyd with the gloves Maidana supposed to have. As for Floyd, he is a great boxer and pillows or not, it doesn't make any difference since he goes for out for 12 rounds.

Please stop? Why? Imagine Floyd's 46-0 with him being the one to beat margarito instead of Mosley doing it first. Imagine him having being the one to KO6 PAC,,, Imagine hime picking up the 160 from Martinez first... Then he went on to fight Alvarez which was great,,,,. I would have loved for that to happen to shut all the real haters up,,, wouldn't you.?? Are you even a fan of Floyd?

No one like criticism, we are all human, that does not mean that Floyd is unhappy with his life or legacy....I'm sure he quite please.

Pacquiao and Cotto get the same amount of hate like Floyd does and I'm sure they are happy as well with their life and legacy, negative criticism comes with the territory

And what do you mean ABC logic, he beat these guys...Fightfax has those victories on record and there it will remain for decades and decades to come.

Lastly, you can talk about Floyd all you want, but he has nothing to do with this night.

The logic being used, Floyd should have fought Sergio we can say the same thing about Cotto, "He should have fought Alvarez, a younger opponent for much more money" but he didn't and we didn't say a word because it doesn't matter....one has nothing to do with the other.

This is Cotto night, stop with the Floyd hate for one night.

you are missing the point. If Floyd wouldve lost then he also fights those guys. Thats what you have to do when you lose but its different when you are on top and calling the shots. Kinda like Margarito ducking a Williams rematch when he got on top even though he was the so called most feared man on the planet who wouldnt duck anyone

It's NOTHING like that. Cause Margarito at least faced Williams.

Your point is more like FLoyd ducking a DLH rematch. You see the difference?

Floyd beat Oscar. My point is when you lose then things change. You have to fight guys to get back to the top. Its different when you are on top calling the shots. Its like Sergio fighting all these top guys and then fighting all the Barkers and others instead of triple G. It happens all the time. When you lose then you have to fight guys you maybe normally wouldnt or else you are not a top guy anymore

Floyd hate?? I'm a big floyd fan... are you?

I want him to get the respect he deserves from haters like you but he brings it on himself by giving away these opportunities.

    I don't hate Floyd, I'm a fan as well.

And if you are true fan, a few things you should know --

    1. You should know he can't fight everybody we want him too

    2. The man is the highest paid ATHLETE in ALL of SPORTS...doubt not fighting Martinez is going to impact his legacy.

    3. He is getting into the HOF...his legacy was secured 46 fights ago. the remaining 3 fights are just banks runs.

    4. Love him or hate him, we will all miss him when he's gone.

    5. Lastly, he has NOTHING to do with tonight fight with Cotto, no need to bring him up.

It doesn't matter to me if other fans and critic don't respect him, all that matter is that I respect him and as a fan, it shouldn't matter what other think of Floyd as long as you respect him and his accomplishments an achievements.

You can't convince everyone to think and understand things the way you do...just state you case as to why you think Floyd is great and move on if you can't respectfully change the haters minds after some sensible debating.

Naw it pretty close to accurate.

You do know that he getting into the IBHOF right? even his strongest hater knows he's getting in.

All he has to do is retire and wait 5 years.

Cotto and Pacquiao are getting in too, their legacies are secure as well...they just need to retire and wait their 5 five years.

Void refused to fight Martinez at 150, he refused to fight Golovkin at 154 and is still running from Pac. Pac stopped Cotto, made a bloody mess of him, Void could not do that. Void wants to beat up another woman.............
