    head coach.

there will be assistant coaches: defensive, offensive, trainer/conditioning, etc etc., on top of the gm/scouting agents.

this is professional league, not your high school team.

all pac really needs to do is establish a rotation and decide who gets the shot when needed and what play to run.

if youre involve since the beginning, this isnt hard to do.

pac is a world class athlete.

im sure he knows a thing or two about what it takes (intangibles, like discipline, killer instict, focus, etc) to win games at the highest level.

    Steve Nash can't dunk.
    And he was 2-time MVP.

Pac is in the running to be president in the Philippines, why would this be so surprising? They let him do what ever he wants over there qualified or not just because he's the Philippines star and god to many there. Im sure theres better qualified people for the job but some one got excited when manny walked in and said "o can I do it!". Hell he can be military commander and chief of the Philippines if he asked.

Im Filipino and a Pac fan and this thread is insulting. Pacquiao has no business in the PBA nor should he be President. Only reason why my countrymen even consider the idea is because he is an icon there. But come on just stick to one profession. I'll give him the congress role as he is very sincere doing it but that should be it.

there is marketing aspect, that can not be denied.

coaching job at the prof level is no longer a job for 1 person. it's a team. im sure pac will be able to put a coaching team in place just like he has put his congress team of sort.

there's plenty of 1st time head coaches in the nba employed and being considered.

head coaching job is no longer what it used to be.

it's now more a managerial job, more than the x and o's.

get a guy that can manage the team, and hire assistants for the technical part.

spoelstra used to be a video splicer when he started in miami, was he qualified when he got the head coaching job when there were more qualified?

there is always first for everyone. getting the top coach doesnt guarantee success. it's a team effort, frm the ballboys up to the top.

who are you to judge what or what pac cant do?

teher is a reason the qualification to run for pres in the phils is simple so it does not decriminate against anyone willing to contribute.

well if pac isnt qualified to run the country, maybe you are. maybe you should run.

just because you speak better english, or construct better sentences means you are better or more intelligent than pac.

pac is schooled in the university of hard knocks and came out on top, at world class level.

id take that over anyone who thinks he is better because he has a college diploma.
