He fought Diego Corrales when he was bombing everyone out, fought Oscar who had just beheaded Mayorga.

He may be a nit wit at times but dont just dont say he isnt a fighter.

Gatti is considered one of the most "courageous" fighters in recent times, but in actuality he was a punching bag with a good chin and a great heart.

Floyd has fought 46 times and has probably only been in 2 truly tough fights in his entire career- against JLC and I guess against Maidana. It's not his fault that he makes all these good to great fighters look so bad in the ring.

He hasn't had to show too much resiliency or courage in the ring because he dominates his opposition. I guess he exhibited some courage and overcame adversity when Mosley rocked him in the 2nd round of their fight. But seeing what FLoyd did for the remainder of that round (and fight,) I guess showed his resiliency.

But I think pretty much anyone who steps in the squared circle as a professional is a courageous person in general. It takes a lot of guts to be a pro boxer.

 

Gatti has atg courage but unfortunately does not have other aspects such as skills,power,speed,you need all of it together......

I hope they fight so both sides can finally STFU already. I don't think either man is scared of the other, I also think both of them are at fault for the fight not materializing a few years ago.

It would've been nice if they met in their absolute primes, but we're talking about an undefeated P4P #1 fighter against a guy who's at worst the # 3 or # 4 P4P fighter (aside from his KO loss to JMM, I don't feel like Pacman has lost a bout in almost 10 years.)

And btw Pacman just beat up on a universally recognized top 10 P4P fighter in Bradley (well he did so twice actually.) So he's not really that much in "decline" as you try to make it out to be.

 

I bet we've had over 90,000 threads since 2009 about fans picking/hoping for random dates to be the one for those two.

 

Does anyone else find it funny someone knows so little about boxing and is so unintelligent that they put the name 'duckweather' in a thread? Anyone who knows boxing, regardless of their preference will appreciate mayweather and pacquiao are currently both elite fighters, and anyone who pretends either are not doesn't have a clue.
