Still amazing to me that Floyd constantly manages to sell these fights. You pretty much know going in that there is no chance of a knockout or any great action (unless you count caveman clubbing to the back of the head as action) yet he managed to finagle another 30 mil payday against this guy. And you think the ppv is expensive? Try the $7500.00 ringside seats. Curious to see how many ppv's this sells

So what? I wouldnt call Hatton a great pressure fighter. He's no Duran or JCC.

As I said- Floyd does not have a great offence on the inside. He's clever and strong on the inside in terms of wrestling/negating his way out of trouble.
Hatton is not that great close up. When he stepped up his inside game was awful at times. Throwing single shots then just hugging and mauling. He can't manipulate space to throw multiple combo's like a great inside fighter does.

I never mentioned Marquez!?! I Know Floyds a great counter puncher.

Floyds limited because his offensive inside game is not that great. I bring this up because *****'s keep saying he's 'complete', etc. He is far from complete.

Collazo had done nothing of note since the Berto fight, he'd previously been dropped and beaten by Hernandez and beaten the perennial loser/part time boxer Ortiz.

Collazo was a solid contender in his prime but he loses all the big fights, add into this bad living and being a recovering alcoholic does not make a top 10 fighter.

Provodnikov on the other hand whilst overhyped he was a champion and on a roll of good fights and performances.

If Floyd went through half the **** Ali had to he would have folded in tears or quit boxing.

To me a shutout against Collazo looks better than a disputed decision over Providnikov in a fight where Algieri was dropped twice.

It's something most fans criticise Ali for anyways.

He got a gift v Norton and others, would lose to frazier prime for prime, lost to a rookie. These are things fans say on these very boards, why should Floyd be any different?

Prior to Provodnikov he was unproven and to a large extent still is. But again he was dropped then got up to outwork/box Ruslan for the majority of the fight. The man showed grit.

I would favour Ruslan over Khan if they where to fight.

The Collazo fight whilst a good performance flattered Khan in as much that Collazo has lost every big fight he's been in and his best win to date is against a overhyped part time boxer in Ortiz. Throw into the mix Collazo fought with as much skill and tactics as Chris Leben of UFC fame and he's a recovering addict.

You say Paquaio-Khan in England could make money Wouldn't Mayweather-Khan make money too in England??? Oh sorry I forgot Fluffy Floyd wont fight anywhere but Vegas. He's got to have his homies backing him so he doesn't lose:patsch

    Of course he isn't.

I wouldn't be surprised if this whole 'TBE' thing was dreamed up by some marketing team as a means of selling t shirts and other such tat in the years after his career is over.

I've seen lunch boxes with Ali on them. They probably think he can do the same.
