I don't know anyone who would want a rematch unless its a farewell fight for cotto to try to erase that loss. cotto might want it, I mean he has canelo and ggg which are both very very bad match ups for cotto

You have to give it to Cotto.

Mayweather, Mosely, Pacqiauo, Margarito, Canelo, Martinez, GGG (if/when it happens)

He has fought the best of the era.

dude will fight anyone under any circumstances. agreed, but too many trainer and self trained parts of his career. I don't like roach in his corner for a canelo or ggg fight. I hope he goes back to 54 next fight

He was being trained by his best mate for the Pacman fight.

I honestly believe the Pacman of now, vs the Cotto of the Mayweather fight, would go to Cotto.

I know it will never happen, but id like to see a rematch between them.

I know, that training camp was a joke, he only trained to make weight and try to be in shape. no game plan what so ever.

totally agree, I see the cotto of the Floyd and serg fights stops pac

One of those rematches that could have, should have happened but never did.

if i was in Cottos shoes, id have been licking my lips when Pacqiauo was KO'd by Marquez and struggled with Bradley.

I know its a ***** move, but waiting for Pacqiauo to slow down would have been a great strategy.

He reminds me of Tyson, once the speed and combos were gone, he became much more predicatable.

    Clottey wouldnt.

Hed be one of Floyds easiest fights.

But Mayweathers punch stats would be poor because of Clotteys turtle shell.

I think pac should had took the rematch at 150 when it was available. I think pacs team knew cotto was 25% for their fight and it would had been completely different with a healthy trained cotto

I find it funny certain people still try to claim marg as a tough fight for Floyd, never mind Floyd who can marg ever beat that's a top ww ?

    Points to consider.

Cotto had lost very badly to Margarito not long before,
    beats Jennings,
fights Clottey and looks awful plus had a very bad cut and some say he lost the fight (Roach was at ringside)
    Loses his dad
trained by his uncle, and then falls out with him
    trained by his best mate

Roach then says, we want Cotto next.

    Go figure.

Disagree. That fight would look like a more dominant version of the success Floyd had against Cotto early in that fight with repeated stabs to the body and Mayweather sweeping the right hand around Clottey's guard. Plus, Mayweather in '09 was dayum near impossible to hit with a left hook, Clottey's primary punch. And even in a phonebooth situation, Clottey's not active enough.

Other than some type of Clottey shenanigans (headbutt), would probably be Mayweather's easiest fight.

Margaritos best win is A) Cotto (amidst controversy)
    B) Kermit Cintron.
    C) Clottey

He lost to all the best fighters he ever fought.
Margarito is slow, slow, slow slow, Floyd has a field day with him.

Floyd only fights plodders....gets accused of ducking Margarito and Clottey :patsch
