Void,Sr. said that Void, Jr. would never fight Pac, he said that right after Pac stopped Cotto......................Void is afraid of Pac and always will be. Even notice that Void always has his personal referee, judges, boxing commission there to protect him at all his fights?! Void is a damned fraud and everyone knows it. Void, Sr. is a nut. I enjoyed watching Julio Ceasar Chavez stop Roger Mayweather two times in two weight divisions.............................

I don't see any good reason that he would be. Mayweather-Margarito would have went exactly like Mayweather-Baldomir with Floyd sticking and moving all night long en route to a wide UD. Cotto was able to outbox him and elude the plaster for 10 rounds, and Cotto doesn't have anywhere close to the defense, speed of foot or stamina that Mayweather has.

Technically challenged Pacquiao boxed circles around this guy so why couldnt Floyd do the same?

    Floyd makes him look dumb.

Absolutely. Floyd wanted nothing to do with Margarito. When margs challenged mayweather to his face he showed all the signs of fright: [YT]C_BWElcszSY[/YT]

IF anything, FLoyd might have felt as if he wasn't ready to take on a full fledged Welterweight so he passed on it..

    I dont really blame him..

He chose to face a lesser threat in Baldomir and if you look at that fight closely, FLoyd fought very safely as if he wasn't sure of himself at the new weight..

He fought Balmdoir because he was the WW King since he beat jUDAH! Thats why! Margarito just had a trinket belt, Mayweather dont go for trinkets

I put this to rest in an old thread of mine:

Lets put this to rest. I don't want to here about this bull**** again about Margarito. First off, this is boxing and anything can happen, but that being said, Margarito has a very minuscule chance at beating Mayweather. Margarito is a slow, no defense, wide punching, straight line brawler. He has good stamina, a great chin and good power, but come on.
This fight could end up like Baldomir or Corrales, you choose.

This fight has shutout written all over it. It would be jab to the stomach, jab up stairs, jab to the stomach, lead hook, pull counter, roll. All night for Floyd with a few blocked flurries on the ropes. Nobody seriously thinks Margo can beat Floyd

Now the next subject is if Floyd ducked Margarito. Well that's a no. This video will explain some of the details of that here.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P2ADQtCDupc

"Arum stated that Mayweather would have fought Margarito for the 8 million, but he wanted a guaranteed 10 million to fight Miguel Cotto and Ricky Hatton. Arum only guaranteed him 7 million"
    http://www.boxingnews24.com/2010/12/...rito-or-cotto/

The only right time for Floyd to fight Margarito was after Zab in place of Baldomir, but Baldomir made more sense, because he was the champion of the weight class, was worth more money, and some people were claiming Floyd was ducking him and fought Zab instead. Another reason he didn't fight Margo then was because he injuryed his right hand and the date Top Rank owned for a fight was too soon for Floyd to recover.
Don't try giving me that "He should have fought Margarito instead of Oscar De La Hoya"
The last reason I will give you guys is also because of Arum. Floyd bought out his contract with him after Zab. This will make sense after you hear this

If they did fight, it would look something like the first Bradley fight....only a lot worse.

it might be the case as algieri is a technical boxer, like what happen in mosley fight, algieri might become hesitant to engage once he taste pacs power :good, or it could be a great technical fight if algieri manages to make pac respect his jab :good
