Showtime signs off on opponents just like HBO does. Anyone who thought otherwise is kidding themselves because the network takes the hit if it flops. Would you invest $30 million in a fight that you think will flop? The networks don't care about the best fighting the best, they care about getting the most bang for their buck.

I'm predicting 300-400k. I'd be surprised if it passes 500k.

I don't know what you guys don't understand, HBO will NOT air Canelo vs Cotto on the same date as Mayweather vs TBA, regardless which fight sells more. BECAUSE even IF Canelo vs Cotto sells more, which I think it will, they will be cutting their profits down. Someone will budge and it'll most likely be Floyd.

When it comes to power: TMT+Showtime < TR+GBP+HBO

I'm sorry but you Pacquiao worshipers have just been undressed by your hero. He has finally shown his true colors and made it clear who's been ducking whom in NO uncertain terms.

Mikey Garcia has dropped his 130lb title and announced that he's moving up to 140. Pacquaio has shamlessly ducked Mayweather, and now with his imminent move to 140, the whole of the welterweight division as well.

If Pacquiao Garcia gets made, and it WILL, I wonder what the Pacquaio worshipers will have to say.

Can't say I'm particularly shocked by this move seeing as Pacquaio hasn't fought a welterweight since Clottey.

It would be funny if it weren't so SAD.

Manny would be happy to stay at 147 if only Floyd would find his balls and fight him.

Floyd is nowhere near more superior to Hearns .

Defense and that's about it .

Hearns wins easily on every other category .

"Floyd is so far superior to hearns its not even funny. " ?

^ Someone saying this , now that's what you call a true ******

Someone who struggled and got knockdown by faded Zab Judah in the first 6 rounds of their fight is not going to get the best of Hearns whos is one of the most versatile WWs in the history of boxing .

Not even other *****s in here would have the balls to say that because they know its not true .

    Stupid *******.

NONE of the names above were #1 in their respective divivsions when Pacquiao fought them except for Bradley being #1 at 140lbs challenging Pacquiao in a 147lb fight - a fight Pacquaio LOST BTW...

Cotto was at a catchweight when they're pretty much the same size and Bradley was a JR welter when they first fought, I think Pac is bigger than Bradley.

I don't know about his true colors being exposed or him ducking the whole time, but this is a sorry ass move IMO when there's better fights to be made at 147.
