I would love for a Mayweather groupie to agree with any of these claims and to cite specific examples.

Floyd will fight anyone, anytime, anywhere regardless of how big of a threat they are to his undefeated record and has proven it time and time again without creating excuses and/or obstacles and demands.

Floyd, like all other all time greats has proven that he will fight the very best in his weight class and AT THEIR BEST especially as he moved up in weight.

Floyd doesn't care about protecting his record and is willing to lose in order to test his skills against the best and prove his greatness because he understands the the fans pay his bills and cares more about respect and legacy than making the right business decision.

Floyd never lies and creates clever smoke screens to avoid certain fighters who he and his father deem tough stylistic matchups and/or too high a risk to his undefeated record. Just like Oscar, he has been willing to face monster after monster in their prime and didn't look to avoid them.

Floyd has proven himself to be an extremely honest, true champion who when caught with his hand in the cookie jar adopts the "honesty is the best policy" approach.

Floyd always shows his love for the sport of boxing and its fans by consistently delivering the fights with the highest demand when the demand is at its peak.

Floyd is a great role model for future boxers who after emulating him will do wonders for the sport of boxing and its fans who are essential to its existence.

Mayweather did not duck Margarito. Arum refused to pay Mayweather the guarantees he asked for for the margarito & DelaHoya fights. mayweather then bought out of his Top Rank contract and made the biggest fight in history---DelaHoya vs Mayweather.

Its damned if you do, damned if you dont with Mayweather. If Mayweather would have fought Margarito instead of DelaHoya, people would bash Mayweather for fighting a slow plodder instead of someone of DelaHoya's magnitude. :deal

I think HBO stands their ground with Canelo-Cotto and Showtime will back out. Think about it, HBO is gonna go into that date balls out knowing that Showtime will not risk their number one attraction losing viewers to somebody else on a different network.

Only way this goes different is if the Pac-May fight gets made, then they just reschedule the Canelo-Cotto fight.

    Only 2 ways...neither will happen

    1. Super-fight: Manny or GGG

    Or

    2. Showtime Premium Cable fight (Non-PPV) against a viable lower profile challenger. Thurman, Garcia, Matthyse, or Khan

If he fought in a non-ppv fight like that, it would be the 1st time since '05 when he fought Sharmba Mitchell. The Cotto-Canelo fight would still do well...but they wouldn't get over 1million buys...and way way way more people would watch the Showtime card. It won't happen...but that's the way you do it.

2015 will be the 1st year where the biggest, most anticipated, most hyped, and most bought PPV fight won't include Floyd or Manny since '06. Pretty cool.

    :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

So when the boot is on the other foot it matters that he is talking about a boxer he will never know?

What about the nutswingers that protect this man to every extent?

Looks like all the Floyd "fans" on this website ought to listen to you too.

Maybe then it would clean up this place. :hey
