Floyd Sr's predictions are just as valid as Roach's predictions.

The Hale / Mayweather connection should be explored further. With the lazer eye on steroids, it really is unfair floyd gets a free pass with things like this out there.

Oh, your when of those that believe Cotto was shot, than became unshot because he took more punishment against Pac, gained some weight, beat up a one legged Jew and a blind has been, and started getting outboxed by nobodies like Trout.

People are free to disagree with him as boxers talk stupid **** all the time or say what needs to be said. Cotto wants a rematch with May and is trying to hype that.

To the eyes of the people its difficult to believe a man who tagged him flush all night and didn't so much as wobble him until the last round hit harder than a man that had him falling all over the place from single shots early in the fight.

This would be like Michael Spinks coming out and saying Holmes hit harder than Tyson..its ****ing stupid and hard to believe.

No you have that wrong my friend. Freddie can't forget what he never knew. Why do you think he's in the condition he's in now ? And Freddie has made more asinine statements than Sr. by far. Ans has no innovative students to prove his boxing prowess. Just a journeyman trainer at best who can teach a little offense..

Defense, defense, defense.. Knowing how to put pinches together with great movement that leaves nothing to hit !

This is what Sr. teaches !

This is what Freddie is clueless about !

What fighter did Freddie Roach's skill-set carry that went undefeated for 6 - 7 years like a Chad Dawson ?

Come on man. Roach might talk out of his ass 24/7 and he might be a dick head but the guy is a pretty good trainer.

Even recently he helped get Cotto back into form.

The guy looked shot against trout and now he looks like himself again.

I'd be confident he beats trout in a rematch with Roach training him.

^ The way Trout is lookin lately , Miguel should look to avenge his loss .

But I still think its easier said then done .

    Styles make fights .

I believe Trout would still give Cotto big problems even now .

Thats a decent prediction but I gotta disagree.

I think that Cotto looked lost in that fight. The short segments during which he started fighting he had success. I think under roach he's got his mojo back and is gonna be on the offensive and lay a beating on Trout.

And as we've seen Trout doesn't look like he can take the same punishment that he was taking in previous big fights.
